Hi Jada - This dishwasher does not have Dry Boost. It has Power Dry with fan assist. Power Dry replaces the Heated Dry button on models with this option. It can be added to any cycle but Rinse. Depending on the wash cycle selected, Power Dry works one of three ways: *Express Wash: The final rinse temperature is increased to aid in water evaporation, and adds 15 minutes of fan drying time to the end of the cycle. *eWash: Does not increase the rinse temperature. On this cycle, only the fan is used to dry the dishes. The dry time is 1.5 hours. *All other wash cycles: Power Dry adds 65 minutes of dry time to the cycle, then the fan will run for another 90 minutes or until the door is opened. Once the LCD reads "Clean" the fan will run for another 90 minutes or until the door is opened. When Power Dry is selected, the water in the Rinse cycle is heated up to 150 degrees to aid the drying process. Hi sun1- All GE Appliances dishwashers must be connected to a hot water line. While it does have heating capabilities, adjust water heater for at least 120°F. Hi Robert- Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your dishwasher. We are happy to address your concern. Power Dry On is the heated dry option. This dry option may add up to 85 minutes to the cycle time. It also has fan assist. This very efficient fan may run for an additional 90 minutes after the cycle is complete to maximize drying performance. Fan operation will end if the door is opened during this 90 minute period. Make sure inlet water temperature is at least 120°F. Use Wash Temp Boost option. Hi SandyO - The dishwasher has a LCD Control Display with Cycle Status Bar on door. It is located in the center just above the handle. Clean is displayed when a wash cycle is complete. The full-wrap Bitumen outer wrap blanket (insulation) reduces the noise level during operation. We do not recommend removing the insulation. Bitumen is a combination of asphalt and rubber, that is heat-bonded to all sides of the stainless steel tub. This heat-bonded application reduces noise vibration on the tub and is one of the best sound deadening materials used not only in dishwashers but, in cars, roofing, and flooring materials.
