complete garbage. not owned or manufactured by GE.
*** GE does not own or manufacture this product! Owned by Henkel **** This product is complete garbage. Sets up so fast it can’t be tooled. 1/4 leaked out and damaged my caulking gun. Cant get it off the tub. Phone support is useless. Never had issues with caulking like this. Costing me hours in time trying to remove it from an acrylic tub that is brand new. Losing days of productivity and a working bathroom. Save yourself headache and don’t buy.

Seems good.
They make a more expensive specifically for tubs but this some seems perfectly good, just mind the 12 hour wait before getting it wet.

works good for first time use
I used this to caulk around a hole that I ran my home security camera wires through from the outside of my garage to the inside. The caulking itself was good and it has withstood the harsh weather for the last few months. The thing I disliked about this product was that it didn’t want to come out of the tube very easy the next time I went to use it. It did meet my expecations for my project but I would have expected it to be easier to use again, even going through proper steps. The caulk ended up coming out the back of the tube and made a mess. Please hit thumbs up if this was helpful.

We had to replace several windows and used this to seal the windows into the frame. It worked great. The picture shows right after we installed the window and had a couple of temporary braces to hold the glass while the silicone dried.

I was using this to seal some problem areas where water was leaking into the cabin of my vehicle....
I was using this to seal some problem areas where water was leaking into the cabin of my vehicle. Seems to be working like a charm. I've also used this for outdoor projects to fasten things together. The only things you have to worry about when using it as a project adhesive: 1. If you're using it to attach things for projects, it can come apart if it takes a sharp blow or falls. I don't recommend it for areas which will be bearing a lot of weight or tension. 2. If you use it attach natural stones to something, be aware that very porous stones like limestone or sandstone may react adversely and dissolve over a few weeks.
When using it to seal leaks, just be sure to try and fill large gaps well so you don't end up with air bubbles rising up and breaking the seal. For the deeper leak points on my vehicle, I had to press the sealant in with my gloved fingers until it was full to the top and then remove any excess with a plastic spatula. Paired with a bit of packaging plastic, it does a great job of preventing leaks around the electrical yokes that run power to doors and the trunk which my car is prone to. It solved a problem that left me with 3 gallons of water in my spare tire well. Definitely recommend it if you're too poor to take your leaky windshield, roof etc problems to a body shop or the dealer.
