- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Electrical outlet within 6 ft. of hook up
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
- Measure your rough cabinet opening
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty and unplug your old dishwasher

Does it dry the dishes?

Does this come with a power cord?
Asked by rick November 27, 2019No. Dishwashers are usually hardwired directly into the house wiring. There is a metal cover box included that is the cover for the wires after the hard wiring is attached. So you need an electrician to hook up the wiring.
Can I attach a panel to this dishwasher to make it match my cabinets? I would like my dishwasher...

Asked by Daniel November 29, 2019GE makes both a plastic and a stainless tub version of many of its dishwashers, make sure you double check the model number to order the one you want. Note that the interior tub material is independent of the exterior door finish.
I feel stupid but I wanted to know if a 46 dBA is as good as a 50 dBA? What does dBA mean anyway?

Why does my new unit keep shutting off?

We recommend disconnecting the power or flipping the breaker for 2 to 3 minutes. Additionally, check your fuses or breakers to make sure that they are not blowing or tripping respectively. You may also check to make sure that your dishwasher is receiving the proper electrical requirements.
