This video will walk you through the simple steps you must take in order to ensure a successful delivery and installation of your new Dishwasher from The Home Depot.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:
- New dishwasher connection kit
- Water supply line (shutoff) within 6 ft. of hook up
- Electrical outlet within 6 ft. of hook up
- The rough cabinet opening must be at least: 24" W X 24" D X 34–1/2" H
- Measure your rough cabinet opening
- Verify your existing electrical and water connections
- Empty and unplug your old dishwasher

We are so sorry to hear that your dishwasher doesn't seem to be cleaning properly and we can understand how frustrating this must be. We know you have tried three different trouble shooting tips and we are sorry that they did not help to solve the problem. We would like to additionally recommend checking the temperature of the hot water heater as it should be 120 degrees F as well as making sure that the spray arms and nozzles are clear of debris. AnswerHi BTR- The dishwasher is equipped with a Quiet Water Valve, Sealed Toe Kick and Mastic Door Insulation for quieter operation (59 dBA). We also offer GE® Dishwasher with Hidden Controls GDT605PSMSS. This model has an additional Outer Wrap Insulation Blanket and Tub Collar Trim (50 dBA). The lower the dBA the quieter the dishwasher. Tried a normal wash with steam sani + dryboost + temp boost. Took 4.5 hrs!!! Is this expected?

The stainless steel front of the machine is getting rust spots by the vents and handle. We have lived in the House since Oct 10. And part time at that, used it maybe 7-10 times. service is impossible to contact.

The outside of the dishwasher has water streaks that are difficult to remove and the mechanics of pulling the drawers in and out are clunky. But thus far, the dish washer is working.

Just installed dishwasher, ran it once on the rinse cycle and it went great. When product was delivered there was no power kit to connect dishwasher to an outlet. Once that was figured out installation was a breeze.
