Hello Valued Customer, thank you for your question. We would recommend to turn the power off at both locations. First turn it off on the actual fixture, then turn it off with the wall switch. When you put the new bulb in, you can flip the switch on the fixture to the on position again, and then flip the wall switch into the on position, and your light should operate normally. looking at the plastic lens, there is a lip in the middle of the fixture, if it is under the cabinet, slightly push up on the lip and pull towards you, fingernails work well.

I replaced an under-counter florescent light fixture - it was buzzing and a new starter did not fix. The new light fixture came with a "warmer" light temp that the cool-white light from the other one, so I ordered this "warmer" bulb to 'match' the new light. Nice try, but no cigar - still a mis-match. but she hasn't noticed yet...<G> As for recommendation, I wish they would actually give the color temp so people could match them up better.....nothing wrong with the bulb I received, so gave a thumbs up on product......thumbs down on match.

Just what we needed for adding target lighting under stairs...
Just what we needed for adding target lighting under stairs closets and under cabinets in laundry area. We had them all wired to a single wall switch since each one has an On/Off switch. **These are hardwired required. You will need to have an electrician properly wire them to a power source and switch.
