Strong Oil Wrench
Oil filter wrench is strong and has a nice grip. I did try to use the oil filter wrench on some smaller filter that are on my tractor and the wrench will not adjust to a more narrow filter, such as a fuel filter. The wrench however does fit more common filters like an oil filter. The handle does swivel to help in tight spaces and puts a good grip on the filter while turning it. All in all this is a excellent filter wrench and will be my "go to" wrench. I recommend this for an everyday filter wrench.

Extremely Practical Filter Wrench to Remove Hard to Reach Filters
The large swivel wrench from GearWrench has been around for a number of years and should be in every handyman’s and mechanics' toolbox. The wrench has been designing to fit around oil filters that range from 3 7/8 up to 4 3/8 or if you’re a metric fan, that’s 96 to 111 mm in diameter. Yes, the original intention was likely intended for oil filters, but I have used this in plumbing applications and to open difficult jars of food. Its longevity is undoubtedly related to the zinc-plated yoke, but the dipped handle allows you to have a firm grip on the tool when turning your object. Must tool for your toolkit.

Good, helpful product
Trying to change the oil filter on our riding lawn mower is terribly difficult. Although the mower’s filter is promoted as an “Easy Change” item, that is an incorrect description. It has been installed into the mower so tightly by the manufacturer, that it requires a great amount of torque to release. This GEARWRENCH tool makes that tough job easier to accomplish.

Really handy , if you’re a beginner, this a “really handy & needed” tool when changing an old oil filter…. It makes it a lot easier…
The quality is very good , nicely made with a strong handle.
Gearwrench makes some really good tools,so automatically you’re getting a tool that’s definitely going to last longer than most tools. The handle makes it easier,especially when you’re in a tight/small space.
I own a lot of different gearwrench tools and I haven’t had any problems…
Definitely worth the money , the price is actually excellent.

Filter wrench
GEARWRENCH Extra Large Swivoil Filter Wrench. This wrench has a nice balance in use. Light weight but well constructed. You must be careful when using as the spring steel ring is quite strong on swing back and you can get skin pinched were the swivel ring meets the handle. This is for large filters, minimum 3 7/8, anything smaller would need the medium sized wrench.
