I have used this filter on Kerosene and known others to do the same. However I can not tell you if it meets code in your area or if the filter satisfies the requirements of the manufacture of the kerosene heater you are using. For example Bio fuels may sound friendly but they are much more corrosive than traditional number 2 oil. So many sellers of bio fuels require very specific filtration media and gaskets. I would check the manual for the heater as it may stipulate a very specific level of filtration. You may also want to check with a qualified oil burner tech or the inspector in your area.
SKU 846414 Put that number in the search block, on the Home Depot web site and it will come up.
There are a number of different cartridges that can be used in this housing. However in my experience it is typically used with the 1A-30 cartridge. It measures roughly 3 1/2” x 2 ¼”. If you want to see it you can put in the SKU for it into the Home Depot web site and it should come up. There SKU is 202312942.
First I want to apologize for not getting back to you sooner. It appears your question was asked four months ago but it was only sent to me today. As to your question this product is in stock in some stores. If you identify to the site which store is your local store it will then tell you if it is in stock there as well as where in the store it’s located and how many they have on hand. Further if that store is out of stock it will tell you the inventory situation in stores nearby. If you have already identified your local store and it is not showing on hands you can assume it is not stocked in your area.
