Super easy to use. Shook it for a few minutes until the ball was really moving. Used it on a bird house that I rebuilt. Hopefully this will give a bit extra protection. The spray pattern is misty. I feel like I got good coverage. Don't do this in the wind, but definitely use outdoors or very well-ventilated area it has a very strong smell. The finish is unnoticeable. Did not want any type of gloss. The top of the bird house already had gloss to it so no need for more. This matte finish is hard to see and will not reflect sunlight or any light. Just what I wanted. The feeling is fairly smooth. I can tell it's there. I did 2 coats and it's still smooth. Dried fast. I wasn't in a big rush, so I let it sit for a few days. Looks great, it's smooth and should help get through another year. The look and feel is great. I'm impressed enough I plan on applying this to multiple outdoor wooden chairs as well.

I have used many brands of spray paint for many different applications and the Giliden max flex topcoat is a great option. Good coverage and a consistent spray make this a really nice finish to help protect a project. This Glidden Max Flex clear topcoat spray did not impress me as much as I thought it would. It had a very strong smell that lingered for a long time afterward. Definitely use out side or in a well ventilated area. It claims that it will not drip or streak when you apply it. that was not the case for me. Maybe I sprayed it too heavily and maybe it was designed to cover a project with very light, multiple coats. It did dry very fast which is a definite plus. And I did try it on multiple items, so I know it will work on plastic, wood, metal, glass and foam board. I have the matte finish which is pretty, but it also comes in gloss. I think I will try it on some horizontal surfaces, such as some ceramic tile I want to put in my garden.

Worked perfectly my wife had a wicker table she wanted to protect from the elements this stuff did the job !
