6 cu. ft. Steel Utility Garden Cart

This is my 4th Gorilla Cart, but my first non-Dump Cart. The first one I got, was pretty poorly designed (hard to turn, and tips over when full going up a hill). If not for a Home Depot Clearance Sale, I probably would have never bought another. The second was a huge design improvement, and when I had a problem with it, the Customer Service at Gorilla was great; which encouraged me to get my third. When I was offered this one through Seeds, I was excited to get it. I have 12 Acres of land, and heat with the wood, I cut and haul using hand carts, and use them nearly every day. I find the plastic tubs on the Dump Carts, are great for no rust, but they collect water and I only use the dump feature to empty debris and rainwater. The grate design of this allows water, and too small to burn debris, to go through. It was extremely easy to assemble, and only tool needed was an Adjustable Wrench. Directions had no words, but pictures were self evident. Only things not mentioned, makes sure the Valve Stem on tires is facing out, and you need to tighten the Cage Latches (to prevent the sides from rattling). The wheels are held on by Linch Pins (which are much nicer than Cotter Pins). As for use, I love the beefier handle grip on this. I have big hand and it is much more comfortable than the skinnier grips. It is 60 Pounds, and for me, easy to move around. Not sure how often I will be removing the side panels, but it is a quick easy option, if needed. Only negatives ... being metal, I expect it will rust. I wish the bar, connected to the front axel, was an inch longer (when turning, the Arm hits the bottom corners, if it is up high), and wish the yellow plastic protection strip was longer (throwing up the Arm, when it is not relatively straight, the Arm hits the metal). Pretty minor or expected issues. If you were unhappy with an old Gorilla Cart, I would definitely recommend giving a new one a try!

Selected this utility cart for multiple uses around the house and shop. The cart is manufactured of steel. Very easy to assemble with the included diagrams and instructions. Only 4 bolts with nuts & washers are used for assembly and are included. The wheels and handle attach quickly with linch pins. Less than 10 minutes to unbox and assemble. Assembly hint: use a little bearing or lithium grease on the axles and rotating attachment point for the front axle. The cart rides smoothly on 13 inch pneumatic tires and is very stable. The steel deck is strong and provides for the 1200 lb capacity of the cart. For larger loads the sides can be quickly removed. The front panel has a plastic guard for the handle to rest upon to prevent damage during frequent use. We are using it to transport trash cans down a long driveway to the curb, landscaping use, and for moving pieces of machinery in a metal fab shop. It pulls easily in dirt or grass. The pull handle also easily converts from a hand pull to a tow bar for a riding mower or UTV. Overall very pleased with the quality of workmanship on this heavy duty cart.

I would recommend GORILLA CARTS 6 cu. ft. Steel Utility Garden Cart. This cart has so two many options to list of all the things you can do with this cart. The first thing I did was move some very heavy boxes from my garage into my house. It preformed as expected. The full large 13" wheels make it easy to move outside or inside and on different surfaces. The handle has a nice grip to hang on two. The sides can be changed around to fit your needs. Very functional and quality made. 45 in. x 23 in. steel deck with removable sides. The handle has the option to pull by hand or attach and pull with a hitch. So many options I think you will really enjoy all the things you can do with this cart.

Easy to put together and works great.

Easy to out together and sturdy enough to hall bricks with. The removable side are super convenient for loading and un loading. Also the fact that it can be towed behind a mower is awesome.

My recent Purchase of the "Gorilla Cart" is among the best purchases I've made in the oncoming spring season here in the South. The Cart is Strong, yet light weight and can easily be pulled around by someone with physical limitations. If I could speak with the design engineers at "Gorilla Cart' I would make two suggestions: (1) Develop a "Bolt on" kit that would allow me to cover the floor/base and sides of the of the cart to allow me to haul items like sand and pea stone. (2) make a quick adapter kit that allows me to quickly adapt my JD Mower trailer pin or ball hitch to me to pull to cart behind the mower if it becomes too heavy to pull on lawn grades and slopes. Other than that , this cart is a fabulous investment.
