Beach Cart
Works great as a beach cart! And easy to disassemble/reassemble for traveling

    Great Great Great
7 yards of mulch, 1 ton of gravel…there is nothing that this cart can’t handle. Maybe it is not as maneuverable in tight spaces as a wheelbarrow but this thing rocks! BEST purchase this year! Buy this cart!

It broke on the first use
Good size and maneuverability but the handle broke on the first use. It took less time to break than it took to assemble. Very disappointed!

        Great Addition Garden Equipment
Wow, I never knew this existed, looking on line for some type of unit to hold my garden tools while working on the lawn. This exceeded my expectations. Super E-Z to assemble in about 1 hour. Use a 3/8 drive ratchet 13 MM socket and a 13 mm wrench. Smaller ratchet should be used to make sure you do not overtighten. A small hammer may be required to tap in the bolts. Hardware is clearly marked on blister pack. Instructions are easy. Make sure washers stay in place for step 2. Make sure handle is oriented correctly for step 7. Big tires move over my rough lawn very easy. I am using to screen out rocks from construction, my screen fits right on and height is very good. I have a smaller shed door and cart just squeaks thru at 29 in tire to tire. Ripped down furring strip for sidebar. Very easy to tip to unload- Good. May not replace my wheelbarrow, but will use much more. One month in use and I use it almost every day. Home Depot should put one on display so customers can see. Very well constructed.

Great for Hauling Tons of Rocks (Literally)
This thing is an absolute BEAST! My two sons and I moved no less than 8 cubic yards of river rock from the driveway to a swale in the backyard (about 100ft distance). Each load was leveled off with rocks so I estimate 6 cubic feet per load at 900lbs (assuming 150lbs per cubic ft for the river rock). To give you an ideas of what 900lbs felt like to push/pull. It was a easier than pushing a Home Depot cart with fifteen 40lb bags of dirt, which is only 600lbs! The slope in the driveway was a little tough, but it handled rolling over rocks, bumps, and even the curb. Dumping was a bit of a challenge. I could "one man" it, but it was much easier for two people to lift and dump the 900lb load.

Easy to maneuver, holds a lot, easy to dump
Review from 78 year old petite woman: I purchased two sizes of Gorilla Cart -- the 7 cu ft and 4 cu ft. Both carts were very easy to assemble, instructions are excellent. The smaller cart is very good for hauling plants and heavy bags of mulch, but isn't large enough for loose materials like branches and twigs. The larger cart, however, is wonderful for yard cleanup and holds a lot of brush and weeds. My husband also likes the larger version for moving firewood, gravel, and dirt. Both carts are easy to pull on uneven terrain and both are easy to dump.

This cart is fantastic! Sturdy, easy to maneuver and the dumping capability is so helpful. The only complaint is I wish it had brakes for loading on a hill - we use a log or large rock to help with that. Otherwise, beyond pleased! Absolutely great purchase.

Gorilla Cart filling up a dumpster.
This has been one of the best purchases we made for moving debris. Empty the cart is light and easy to move. When I loaded it down with railroad ties it didn’t even seem to struggle. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a wheel barrow or a yard cart. We used it like a cart by using the handle. We also took off the handle and connected the cart my lawn mower. It worked out great.

                  Great addition to the property
I’m impressed with this cart. It was very easy to assemble with a couple of wrenches (not included). Even the tires in my box were already properly inflated. I find backing it up with the mower a challenge but it’s so easy to unhitch it and move it by hand that it’s really not an issue. I would recommend it.

                    Update to Magic review
I wanted to give another update because I found another way this cart is incredibly useful. I purchased the worx cart clips and they fit perfectly on the gorilla cart. This was very helpful for auto detailing, carrying tools, and my JBL Clip 3 speaker. I was able to haul my pressure washer my wash bucket my rinse bucket all my soap my foam cannon everything. I unloaded the pressure washer but put the cart with all the accessories in buckets around my truck as I detailed. What a timesaver and a back saver no more lugging heavy buckets. I can’t tell you how happy I am with this purchase

                      Magic
I am blown away impressed with this cart. I am a 5’1 woman and I live alone in a small cape cod 1,120 sq ft. I was unsure if I needed this 7cu ft cart and whether it would be over kill. But after reading reviews and watching videos I went with the 7cu ft rather then the 4 or 6. This was due to the larger tires people reported them being able to go through dirt, grass, and mud better. Man o man am I happy I went big. It fits perfectly on my 30” wide side walk and even if one of the wheels of tracks it’s still a breeze. I loaded 8 40lb bags of topsoil, two bags of grass seed, and some tools. This cart purred like a kitten I powered through my backyard, side walk, and dirt/ mud with zero issues and again I am a small woman. I did find it very difficult to dump it with the handle with all that weight but I got it done. This thing saved my back too. Lastly the zero turn was magic because the cart is large and my space to work in was small I effortlessly turned around on a dime in order to dump the load. The assembly was a breeze and too 30 mins with a 13 socket and wrench. I previously purchased the Rubbermaid 7.5cu ft cart and what a mistake i returned it after one day. It was to deep and it killed my back to get out the top soil, the wheels dug into dirt and grass and heaven forbid one wheel would slip of sidewalk it was almost impossible to get it back on. The gorilla cart 7cu ft was just the right size to get all my needs done. I just wish Homedepot carried the gorilla brand cart attachments and the gorilla brand no flat tires.

at first I was very excited because it was easy to put together and it’s for my moms birthday but as I was doing stow two I noticed that the bar wasn’t measured right or something and that it wouldn’t fit to the right proportion so I couldn’t even build it for her present very disappointing

                          best thing since sliced cheese!!!!
I went to checkout the new home depot last week and this cart called out to me. went back the next day and picked one up. it immediately became the best thing of my life. I'm removing 6 to 8 inches of dirt from one part of the yard and spreading it in different places on the property.... it cut what I expected to be 2 or 3 days work down to one comfortable day!

Been wanting to purchase this cart for a while now. The handle of my wheelbarrow finally rusted off,So I decided to get myself an early Christmas present. The assembly was a breeze. Only took about 20 minutes, two tools, and no arguing with my boyfriend. I totally agree with other reviewers that this cart can have multi-purposes. The cart is very strudy and pulls and steers easily. I am very impressed with the quality of this product.

Great Design, Great Value, Great Cart
The packaging was solid and once opened up, everything was well secured with zip ties and nothing was damaged. The 1 1/2” square steel frame parts are very heavy duty for a yard cart and everything fitted perfectly. The assembly instructions are clear and the parts packaging is separated into the assembly steps. All of the nuts are nylon filled locking nuts and will remain tight. I worked slowly (35 min. total) and did a couple of extra things to make the cart more reliable. The design is really well thought out and the assembly is truly a one person job. The bolts that secure the chassis parts to the tub pass through the tub and have large square heads that fit into recesses molded into the tub. The holes for these bolts are cast into the tub with small nibs internally that hold onto the bolts once they have been inserted. Thus they are held in place even when you turn the tub upside down to put the frame pieces, nuts and washers on. Everything fit together perfectly and having the fastenings grouped by step on the shrink wrapped packaging was a great help. No trying to decide which nuts and bolts to use in each step and no missing pieces. The wheels have two sets of ball bearings for each wheel and they roll very easily. The locking pins that secure the wheels on the axles are a great idea. The two function draw bar/handle is genius. I will likely always tow my cart, but just being able to slide the D handle up for hand use is a great feature. The cart dumps easily when towed by releasing the tub handle, backing the cart up until the dump mechanism empties the tub, and then pulling forward allowing the tub to return to the lowered and locked position. I had been looking at two wheeled dump carts, but the Gorilla Cart is a much better solution.

My wife and I moved 5000 lbs of compost in one day. I added plywood sides to the cart and was able to haul over 10 cubic yards at a time. I pulled it with my lawn mower and was able to dump it easily where I needed the compost. Great product.

After 3 months the bolts are already rusting.
What more can I say. It is an indoor cart not meant to come in contact with moisture. I expect the bolts to rust out within a few years the rate they are decaying. At that point it will be near impossible to get the bolts out. The frame and box should last at least a decade but the bolts will not survive that long.

                                  Time and Back Saver
My 20 year old wheel barrow is rusting away so I was researching repairing or replacing it. During my research I came across this awesome cart! I had thought about a yard cart for years, but figured it would be a pain as I could not dump out material (and would have to shovel material out of it). The Gorilla Cart has that figured out with a clever dumping feature. I went to my local HD to purchase and found they also had Mexican Beach Pebbles (which were stated to be out of stock). I picked up 27 bags, along with the cart, and brought it home. I was able to comfortably fit 13-14 bags (30 lbs each) in the cart at once (I could have done more but I did not want to load past the bucket top) and easily wheeled them to my staging area over grass for the project materials. On my driveway it was literally no effort to pull the cart, on the grass it was a bit more effort but much easier than any other method. This cart is fantastic! I was able to move the bags from my truck in two trips (~400 lbs each). Using my wheel barrow, this would have taken easily 2x more - not to mention my back hurting from lifting the handles. I cannot believe I waited so long to get this! This is a huge time and effort saver! Assembly was a simple and the bolts appear to be the same type you would find on snow thrower shoes (brass in color; look like grade 8) so hopefully they will resist corrosion better than standard bolts. As others have mentioned the hardware is sealed to a piece of cardboard separated by instruction steps. The hardware also recesses in the tub so you do not have to hold a wrench on the other side. Little things like this show attention to detail and made assembly simple. I will have 200 4" x 16" pavers, 130 cap stones, and 4 yards of crushed rock delivered so this cart will definitely come in handy and save me an immense amount of time moving materials. One thing to keep in mind is it has a large foot print so plan where you will store it. Excellent purchase - I wish I had bought one years ago!

great cart, until it broke at the hitch connection after two weeks
Easy to assemble, light weight, very maneuverable and versatile. However, the hitch connection to my Ryobi mower snapped after two weeks (and <10 short trips as a pull cart). Looks like a faulty weld in an area that would be vulnerable to stress. Back to Home Depot it goes!

I came across this cart while shopping for a tractor cart. Most tractor carts hold less wieght and cost twice as much. Those are also dedicated tractor carts without the ability to convert to a hand cart. I've uses it to easily move wood, stones, and do garden work. My son loves riding in it. The dump feature is fantastic. As a hand cart it holds much more and is easier to handle than a wheelbarrow. Can't beat the utility and price. Couldn't reccomend this enough.

Bought primarily for the beach to haul beach gear over soft sand. 13” wheels did fine. The 4 cu. ft. was too small for a big haul. The 7 fits in a Grand Cherokee with the little seat still up in back. Handle comes off on the 7. Good feature. Tub is much more solid on the 7. Gives room to close hatch. Hauls a big cooler, chairs, towels, umbrellas & more. People have stopped to take a picture so they can get one. My granddaughter loves having all her stuff at the beach for a full day of fun. One trip from the car to the water. I hose it off when we get home. May seem bulky or overkill, but way better than smaller, poorly made, foldable, fabric, disposable options. Location SE FLORIDA

Awesome, where has Gorilla Cart been al this time? Gorilla Cart was given to me for an early Fathers Day since I was in the middle of projects. My 7 Cu. Ft. Gorilla Cart has hauled, 148 landscape blocks, twelve 80 # bags of concrete mix, 5 cu. Yds. Of soil with mulch, 4 cu. Yds. Of landscape rocks. I love this thing, try anyone to take this from me and you will have a fight on your hands! Love the dump capacity, love the ease of maneuvering the cart with a load, the inflated tires and bearings. The strength and durability that I see is amazing. I next pull the Gorilla behind my all terrain vehicle around the yard. I have contractor friends that have seen the Gorilla and intend purchasing one or more for their crews on work sites. This is a great tool, and I am a retired general contractor and property manager, and only wish I would have had one much earlier. GREAT JOB GORILLA CART!

I was skeptical. We’re professional horticulturists and have a homestead. I was getting tired of the wheelbarrow pushing up hills, having the front dig into the ground and getting whacked in the shins. When the handle finally rotted I decided on one of these. I’ve used it for moving soil to build up sweet potato beds, haul heavy dead pine and hardwoods when clearing the woods, and tote my wife and daughter to drop things off at the neighbors up the road. This thing does it all. A little hard to dump when full of soil as you’re lifting all the weight. Back load it and it will dump easier. This thing is a super star. I definitely will keep it around.

I I have had this cart for 1-week and highly recommend it. It replaces my old wheel barrow and makes moving 4-yards of loam very easy. Assembly was very easy with very good instructions. A lot less work with the Gorilla Cart that is easily pulled and tilted to dump. A conventional wheel barrow has to be lifted and then pushed creating a lot more work and limiting the amount of material that I can move.

Great cart! My husband and I use it around our yard for all sorts of projects, mostly picking up sticks or moving rocks. It’s nice to know we can add sides to it so it can hold even more sticks/brush. It is really easy to turn, and the dump feature is great! It would be nice if that wheels had a locking feature, but I don’t know if that’s even possible design/engineering wise. Overall, I would buy this cart again!
