7 cu. ft. Poly Yard Dump Cart

I got this for my husband, who's in construction. I watch him load all his carpentry tools in it and only make 1 trip to the job hes doing. We absolutely love it . We live in Massachusetts and recently bought a large snowblower we put the snowblower in the cart and pull it where we need to go with no problems at all . I recommend this to everyone it's one of the best things I've bought . BUY IT U WONT REGRET IT

Been wanting to purchase this cart for a while now. The handle of my wheelbarrow finally rusted off,So I decided to get myself an early Christmas present. The assembly was a breeze. Only took about 20 minutes, two tools, and no arguing with my boyfriend. I totally agree with other reviewers that this cart can have multi-purposes. The cart is very strudy and pulls and steers easily. I am very impressed with the quality of this product.

The packaging was solid and once opened up, everything was well secured with zip ties and nothing was damaged. The 1 1/2” square steel frame parts are very heavy duty for a yard cart and everything fitted perfectly. The assembly instructions are clear and the parts packaging is separated into the assembly steps. All of the nuts are nylon filled locking nuts and will remain tight. I worked slowly (35 min. total) and did a couple of extra things to make the cart more reliable. The design is really well thought out and the assembly is truly a one person job. The bolts that secure the chassis parts to the tub pass through the tub and have large square heads that fit into recesses molded into the tub. The holes for these bolts are cast into the tub with small nibs internally that hold onto the bolts once they have been inserted. Thus they are held in place even when you turn the tub upside down to put the frame pieces, nuts and washers on. Everything fit together perfectly and having the fastenings grouped by step on the shrink wrapped packaging was a great help. No trying to decide which nuts and bolts to use in each step and no missing pieces. The wheels have two sets of ball bearings for each wheel and they roll very easily. The locking pins that secure the wheels on the axles are a great idea. The two function draw bar/handle is genius. I will likely always tow my cart, but just being able to slide the D handle up for hand use is a great feature. The cart dumps easily when towed by releasing the tub handle, backing the cart up until the dump mechanism empties the tub, and then pulling forward allowing the tub to return to the lowered and locked position. I had been looking at two wheeled dump carts, but the Gorilla Cart is a much better solution.

My wife and I moved 5000 lbs of compost in one day. I added plywood sides to the cart and was able to haul over 10 cubic yards at a time. I pulled it with my lawn mower and was able to dump it easily where I needed the compost. Great product.

What more can I say. It is an indoor cart not meant to come in contact with moisture. I expect the bolts to rust out within a few years the rate they are decaying. At that point it will be near impossible to get the bolts out. The frame and box should last at least a decade but the bolts will not survive that long.

My 20 year old wheel barrow is rusting away so I was researching repairing or replacing it. During my research I came across this awesome cart! I had thought about a yard cart for years, but figured it would be a pain as I could not dump out material (and would have to shovel material out of it). The Gorilla Cart has that figured out with a clever dumping feature. I went to my local HD to purchase and found they also had Mexican Beach Pebbles (which were stated to be out of stock). I picked up 27 bags, along with the cart, and brought it home. I was able to comfortably fit 13-14 bags (30 lbs each) in the cart at once (I could have done more but I did not want to load past the bucket top) and easily wheeled them to my staging area over grass for the project materials. On my driveway it was literally no effort to pull the cart, on the grass it was a bit more effort but much easier than any other method. This cart is fantastic! I was able to move the bags from my truck in two trips (~400 lbs each). Using my wheel barrow, this would have taken easily 2x more - not to mention my back hurting from lifting the handles. I cannot believe I waited so long to get this! This is a huge time and effort saver! Assembly was a simple and the bolts appear to be the same type you would find on snow thrower shoes (brass in color; look like grade 8) so hopefully they will resist corrosion better than standard bolts. As others have mentioned the hardware is sealed to a piece of cardboard separated by instruction steps. The hardware also recesses in the tub so you do not have to hold a wrench on the other side. Little things like this show attention to detail and made assembly simple. I will have 200 4" x 16" pavers, 130 cap stones, and 4 yards of crushed rock delivered so this cart will definitely come in handy and save me an immense amount of time moving materials. One thing to keep in mind is it has a large foot print so plan where you will store it. Excellent purchase - I wish I had bought one years ago!

Easy to assemble, light weight, very maneuverable and versatile. However, the hitch connection to my Ryobi mower snapped after two weeks (and <10 short trips as a pull cart). Looks like a faulty weld in an area that would be vulnerable to stress. Back to Home Depot it goes!

This is my new work horse in the yard! We use it for everything. We've moved lumber, firewood, mulch, dirt, sand, and leaves. Love the dump feature and the handle that can attach to the tractor. I would by this again and again!

I came across this cart while shopping for a tractor cart. Most tractor carts hold less wieght and cost twice as much. Those are also dedicated tractor carts without the ability to convert to a hand cart. I've uses it to easily move wood, stones, and do garden work. My son loves riding in it. The dump feature is fantastic. As a hand cart it holds much more and is easier to handle than a wheelbarrow. Can't beat the utility and price. Couldn't reccomend this enough.
