I just recently purchased a Gorilla Cart to use around my home & absolutely love it! To begin with, it was easy to assemble.
I'm a 67 year old woman, heat my home with a pellet stove & have a yard with mostly gravel. Moving 40# bags of pellets, even one at a time is not easy. This cart can move up to 800# in one load! My limit is 8 bags, 320#, but the other great thing is the oversize tires. They easily roll over my rough gravel.
I am already recommending the cart to my friends & family.

I bought this cart to replace the old version of the 600 lb. Gorilla cart, which I had completely worn out. That cart had served me well for several years, but I ask a lot from my garden cart, and when the tires wore out and the cart became ricketty, I decided it was time for a new one. The 800 lb. version is a step up. The cart bed is made of a heavier plastic, and the frame is far sturdier. Gorilla has updated the frame on all its carts (I think), so the steering mechanism is much more robust. It's a solid machine, which it has to be to haul the stone, mulch, sand, gravel, plants, etc. that need to be somewhere other than my driveway. Currently, I'm building stone pathways and a dry creek, and this cart is indispensable.
I chose the 800 lb. model instead of the even heavier models because I have to haul whatever's in it by myself. I don't have a lawn tractor, so the weight of the cart, itself, is a major factor. This one is just perfect for me. I am a pretty small, 67-year-old woman, and I can easily maneuver it, fully loaded. I highly recommend it.

The cart was easy to assemble and so far seems to be of good quality; it will work great to haul behind my lawn tractor to haul loam or brush. Using 1" x 2" boards (3/4" x 1 1/2" finished) I also built rails so I could also use it as a wagon for pulling the kids around... and It was actually less expensive than buying the famous red wagon named after an airborne AM/FM stereo.

Once you go Gorilla Cart - You'll Never go back to a regular wheelbarrow.
I would always have problems with a normal wheelbarrow wheeling heavy dirt and objects down hill. A normal wheelbarrow would tilt over and spill its contents and it was hard on the back.
The gorilla cart is much more stable over uneven ground and up or down hills. I could also move much heavier loads with much less effort and less bending. If you have to move lots of mulch, dirt firewood etc then this would be ideal.
It could even turn a pretty tight corner and roll backwards or forwards.
When dumping a heavy load, the wheels roll under the bin to help support the weight so it is less pressure on you.
I would mention that you should not assemble this indoors or in your garage. It will stink up your house for days. Assemble it outside because there is a lot of really foul smelling off-gassing that comes from the cart. I allowed it to sit outside for awhile to let the smell dissipate.
The gorilla cart is my new favorite toy. Let me start with the assembly. It was super easy. This is because the hardware is package in the individual steps you need it for (I have attached a pic). Once assembled it is solid and maneuvers great. The heavy duty tires work well on uneven terrain. I can't wait to bring this on vacation and haul all of my beach gear with it. The dumping feature may also come in handy for some serious sand castle building.
This is a great option for someone who wants a cart that can be either pulled by hand or towed behind a lawn mower. I've had wheelbarrows and tow-carts and neither of them work in all circumstances, but this is kind of the perfect blend between the two.
Assembly is pretty straightforward and requires minimal tools. It took about 30 mins to get everything unboxed and put together.
This cart is very well made and is easy to maneuver by hand. The locking mechanism that releases the cart to dump is very smooth and easy to use. The bed itself is also sturdy - I stood in the center of the cart and there was virtually no give. My only complaint is very minor, and it's that the back end of the cart could be more slanted. A little more slant would keep small amounts of content from staying in the cart even when it's in a vertical position. Again, that's VERY minor though. Overall, this is a great cart that covers just about all the basis.

This cart is sturdy and well-made. It did take me a little bit of time to put it together, but while doing so I was able to see how well-constructed it is. I have used it and it runs great and I'm able to pull it with little effort, even with a full cart. I wish I had know how useful this would be--I would have bought a Gorilla Cart years ago. I highly recommend.

Giving this 5 stars and excellent rating because it’s a great value for the quality. It’s easy to assemble and took about 30min, you need to inflate the tires too. It’s very sturdy and the dump function works perfect. My only complaint is the outer axle washers jingle as it moves, but that’s minor.
