Hi Beth- for synthetic grass to be a success you have to stake it down at least every 2 feet (and every foot is even better). The plastic stakes you buy are 8 inches long so you would need to tear up the concrete.. There is a type of synthetic grass -more like a carpet-with a short pile which you can glue down on top of concrete but this would require the concrete to be level. Hope this helps!
