I started using the screws and noticed I was running low rather quickly. So I decided to count them and noticed I was shorted at least 12 screws. While that may seem petty, it actually adds up to over 2$ stolen from me since these are not cheap screws. I am not sure if they were stolen by a customer (i.e., took some screws out of one pack and add them to their own before purchasing) or if GRK is intentionally shorting customers and hoping they don't notice. Either way, the package needs a safety seal to prevent this; something as simple as a sticker would suffice! I will not buy this brand again until there is theft protection because who has time to count 80 screws in the store??? Other than this issue, the screws function very well and have not split any wood!

Screw was easy to hold and drive. No quality issues to prevent them from stripping or driving into wood. I used them for mostly indoor projects. They were used to my Ryobi tool rack for example. It holds up nicely.

I used these screws to hold the 2x4's that i secured to the wall in order to mount a heavy TV to the wall. Used 8 screws on each 2x4 and i was able to pull myself from the 2x4, 220 lbs.! Screws were very easy to drive in and the provided bit did a great job, no wobble when driving the screw, so it when in very straight.

Recently I purchased two packages of GRK Fasteners being review. I used 140 of these wood screws for repairing a 20 year old treated wood deck that the old nails rotted and some of the boards came loose. This product came with the green star drive bugle head in each package, which I only used one of this bits. The package states that the screws are for treated wood. I did not have to pre-drill any of the holes due to the "fast bite tips." Whereas with another brand occasionally I did have to per-drill holes after the screw head would not go deep enough during this repair project - these screws that I had to pre-drill did not have the fast bite design. Yes, I'm pleased with the GRK screws used in this project.
