How does this physically attach / mount to the wall? For clarification my Grohe pressure balance valve has a bracket on it that allows it to be attached to a stud (technically a piece of wood positioned horizontally between two studs set a correct depth). Does this product require a separate rough in box? I'm not referring to the water hookup, but how to you mount it so it is held in place.
Asked by: Thomas
This is secured by strapping the lines to a board.

The 2 ports on top/bottom do they feed hot and cold water through independently or do they send mixed water through each

I'm installing a new shower intending to use a shower panel that needs hot and cold connections but would like to install a diverter in case we want to go back to regular shower setup
Asked by: Nathan
You would bring mixed water to the valve. This valve is made to be installed with another valve that will control temperature and the volume of water.

What is the difference between in operation between a Grohe 29035 5-port diverter and a Grohe 29714 5-port transfer/deverter?
Asked by: Bill
They are the exact same valve. They have different rough in dimensions depending on the trim. The 29 035 is generally used with a low profile trim. The 29 714 trims will generally protrude further from the wall.
