Yes there are several extension options to move the shower head up or out. you can order them from home depot if the local store does not have them in stock

Why does the chrome come with a valve and the brushed nickel does not? Why wont this ship to California? It adheres to the July 2018 water code for 1.8 for shower and 1.2 for faucet.

I have the brushed nickel and it did come with the valve. I'd contact the manufacturer directly if yours did not.

This functionality is partially available, but if it is truly important, then a twin valve system might be a better choice.

The price point of this faucet makes it a great value, particularly considering it's a Grohe product. Despite it's reasonable cost, Grohe has included the rough in valve and maintained their high quality chrome finish plated on thick and heavy casting. The escutcheon plates, shower arm, handle, and tub spout are all quite heavy. The 8" square shower head is also metal, although it does have a lighter weight to allow it to stay positioned to the desired tilt without its own weight causing it to flop. The rough in valve has 1/2" FPT for the hot and cold inlets, as well as the shower outlet and the tub outlet. Installation of the rough in valve, as well as trim, is pretty standard for shower/tub faucets. If you don't have experience installing this type of faucet, it's probably best to leave it to a plumber. The faucet valve works smoothly and flawlessly. The design is a simple one, and the handle is quite large and heavy. This faucet has all the qualities of a more pricier model from Grohe.

If you are really interest in Stylish design faucet, this set of Shower Tub Faucet set may meet your goal. No fancy structure, purely European design style in modern fashion with simple but sharp outlook. 8" Square shower head with bright shinny chrome finishing given you real fresh feeling. Single handle operate for both Hot and Cold water make you a ease of water control. A well match design tub has a strong cast body and Small Square Pulling Nut is one of wonderful design. The faucet set also comes along a rough-In-Valve. The valve is solid brass made with 1/2" thread connection. Don;t forget Starlight Chrome is one of the highly specific chrome by Grohe product. That is rare or none in other maker chrome work. Review the whole set of the faucet, from design to finishing is all are well treated in production plus the price is reasonable.

While the faucet and shower head appear nice and solid, I haven't actually gotten to install this unit completely because the valve leaked causing me to fail the plumbing inspection. My contractor had to buy a new valve and we are waiting for re-inspection.

The instruction manual is super easy to understand and follow. Also, putting the unit together was extremely easy. It is an exact fit for my project, I definitely recommend the product to anyone interested in new shower faucet. It is very sturdy and I believe will last a long time. Fast shipping too.

That's the first thing that comes to my mind when asked to describe this. This is part of a bathroom addition that's in the framing stage. This set is a beauty. Very nice looking. Love the brushed nickel. Great quality. Even better that it comes with the mixing valve. That not only takes the guesswork out but makes it a great value. BTW, do not try to install your self unless you have plumbing experience. There is copper sweating that will need to be completed to install the new mixing valve.

I'm very impressed with the look and the quality of this shower-tub faucet kit. I've installed other well known high end brands and in my opinion, the quality of this trim kit is superior. The valve is very stout, fairly straight forward to install, and is also a welcome feature since the valve is really the heart of the shower-tub faucet. The finish and weight of the the trim is very nice and for my barn-dominium application looks fantastic.
