Q:Why does Home Depot show weight limit of 350lbs, but when package arrives, Vertex paperwork has HUGE warning not to exceed 220lbs?? Did they ship the wrong product, or is Home Depot's description wrong??

Answer This Question

A:  I have the same question. I would not have ordered if I knew it was only 220 lbs weight limit.

A:  I had the same concern. It's extremely frustrating. I called Home Depot and asked them to correct this on their website. We will see if that happens!

A:  My wife is 5' 6" and she says it limits her when she is pulling weeds, she also has a little bit of a........well attention problem. LOL. It works good if she stays in one spot for a while.

A:  I just went and measured mine. I have mine in hole 2, there are 4, and mine is about 13 inches, 20 inches I don't think, probably more like 17 ish.

A:  Granny Gardener, Honey, it might extend to 20". problem there, at full extension, the body rocks on the wing nut. Still too short to be practical. I'm in good shape and 56 years old but I'm being serious when I tell you that 15 minutes in this seat and I'd be ready for a crane to pick me up. knees under my chin, the thing rocks like a seasick crocodile and that's not from the rocker bottom it's from the wingnut adjustment.

I love the garden rocker seat! I have had one since 2003. It finally gave out this year so I had to get a new one. I would highly recommend this item!

False Advertising - Weight Limit Is STILL Wrong
We ordered this because the specifications stated it supported up to 350 pounds. Surprisingly, it arrived with paperwork that emphasizes not exceeding 220 pounds. What a waste of time and money for everyone involved. Even after contacting Home Depot support and clearly voicing the description of the problem, checking back days later the website is still not updated. In fact, I see similar reviews from months even years ago. That's just ridiculous!

            Website vs. Manufacturer Info
Home Depot’s website claims “Durable construction holds up to 350 lbs. of weight” The enclosed information from Vertex International clearly states “Do not exceed 220 lbs.”

Good light weight, sturdy, gardening seat. Being able to twist, lean forward and stay secure and somewhat comfortable is a huge game changer from kneeling pad/or stationary/legged seat. Well made though even though so light. Very happy with purchase. Recommended by friend.

This is my 2nd Vertex seat. My first one is 15 years old. Two seats means I can keep one up front yard :-) Love it for weeding and deadheading chores ! Back saving device ??

This garden rocker was not made as well as the one I had for 20 years and finally wore out. The material is not as sturdy, and the height adjustments still makes the stool sit low to the ground. I would not recommend this to anyone with knee or back issues.

This is a great little gardening seat. It leans with your body and takes the pressure off your knees. Very strong

It was so hard for my Mom to plant things on her knees. This has allowed her to sit down while planting low to the ground.
