You're calling this coco peat. Is this compressed peat moss or is it compressed coconut fiber?

Asked by: Vemont
The term Coco Peat suggests, it is mixed with coconut coir and peat moss. Peat moss is just sawdust, but sphagnum peat is the dried of moss (a kind of moss/plant) that grows near water. Sphagnum peat and peat moss are two different things.

Maybe a silly question, but how do you use it?

Do you put plants directly in it, mix it with dirt, cover top of soil of potted plants? My succulents have been getting lice all summer long. I don't want to bring them in and infect other plants. Thank you!
Asked by: FatKitty
I used it mixed with compost for potting up my tomato seedlings.
