Product Details

A supported plant is a healthy plant. By lifting branches and leaves off the ground, the Gardener's Blue Ribbon 42 in. Heavy-Duty Blue Tomato Cage can help protect plants from harmful diseases, while helping the plant to grow straighter and taller. Each plant cage is made from stronger, more durable galvanized metal blue powder coated steel to help support medium to large plants, like Globe, Plum and Oxhart tomatoes. The open cage design has both horizontal and vertical metal beams to support growing plants. The cage features 4 legs that are 3 x 7-Gauge legs and 3 x 8-Gauge rings. The wide open grid work of the cage makes harvesting easier. Installation is simple - press the grow cage into moist loose soil at the same time you plant your starter plant. The green powder coating helps prevent rust and weathering, so that the cages can be used for a second season. The cages stack together for easy storage.           A:  I bought mine last week at Home Depot not sure what gauge removed tag could be a stronger gauge still love it just push from bottom spikes strongest area not from top of cage.
