Questions & Answers

how do you refill it?

assembly part
Asked by: Arleen
The lighter inside the red case comes out. There is a refill hole on the lighter. Place the nozzle of the refill canister into the hole on the lighter and push the two together. They have to be lined up just right but you should hear and see the fluid going into the lighter.

How do you refill?

Asked by: Fredma297
You take the top off. Inside is a lighter case without the flint. Pull out the lighter. At the bottom there is a hole you press the butane into in order to fill. Once filled, out it back together. Now at this point you should be able to press the button and it I’ll create a small torch. However for me the torch didn’t stay lite for more than a second and after 15 tries it never even gave me that 1 second of torch. Didn’t work for me.

How to put a lighter in?

Asked by: Tunchie
Insert the lighter with the flame side closest to the flat portion of the handle. (The back side has a more curved, or contoured grip). See the picture. After you have done this, take it back to the store for a refund. It still isn't going to work.

How do you refill it?

Asked by: Arleen
Took me a while to figure that out too so don't feel bad. Grab it at both end and pull and wiggle to get it apart. Then you take the poorly made lighter inside, turn it upside down, put the stem of the butane filler can DOWN into the fill hole and push. you can see it fill and stop when it's full, or almost full. Reverse the order to reassemble and hope it works. It takes a couple tries before it fires up. Have a great day.

I'm not a big bad review writer, I would rather keep it positive, BUT this is absolutely worse than poor, less than one star. Shame on you Home Depot. It's just a little bic lighter in a larger piece of plastic junk. It also doesn't work. Stop making plastic junk that doesn't work. Terrible product, send it back to china.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed to find out the operation of the torch... Very disappointed to find out the operation of the torch was based on a regular lighter. Reliability of flame staying ignited relied on how the torch was held. If torch turned sideways or angled, flame would extinguish. Temperature of flame did not meet my needs.

I took the disposable lighter out and it lit fine, but when I tried to insert the lighter into the device, it would never light. It appears that the way the lighter connects to the device is extremely poorly engineered.

Worked fine initially, but went to use recently and the igniter switch won't spark despite the fuel being full. Not work the $$$ for less quality than a disposable cigarette lighter.

The lighter and can had to be held a certain way so not to get any oil on your hands when adding the butane.
