Weak welds on engine mount plate.
I bought this pressure washer March 2022 and it worked fine until I noticed the plate on which the engine sits had broken. Upon further inspection I noticed the welds had giving way. The welds are not suitable or durable for this type of application. Homeowners move the equipment over grass and driveways which will cause stress on the frame and welds. This should be considered a manufacturer defects as the welds are not suitable. Very disappointed when I noticed this with only 25 hours on it.

The lightweight 25 foot hose makes it easy cleaning of large areas without moving the machine. I do recommend this product to anyone who has property to be clean. It does a great job cleaning concrete.

I purchased this model because it was the only portable unit that generates hot water. The control knob on the handle allows for three spray intensities and one soap function. Its gentle enough to wash the car yet tough enough to remove organic growth and mold from concrete block and sidewalk. I will use it this summer to power clean the outside of the house before painting. It was easy to assemble and operate.

Although I don’t have a long term review for this particular product. I do want to share my experience.
I had to order the pressure washer online, because it was not available in my store. The item was drop shipped from Generac. The box was slightly beat up from shipping and looked okay upon an inner inspection. I did notice that everything was covered with an oily film, which I thought was used in packaging to prevent rust. However, it seemed excessive. Even though the engine comes empty of oil it does have some from testing at the factory according to Generac. This oil had saturated the air filter and caused it to clog and to run extremely rich. Excellent customer service from Generac, but with a caveat. I had to call twice. First we figured air filter needed replacement, and it did. I had to go to local place. But the weather where I live turned rainy and after I got back I could only do a short test. I didn’t realize that all that rich fuel mix and oil ultimately fouled the spark plug. Called tech support and the person walked me through a few things and finally cleaning spark plug. Started and working well.
The caveat: Generac did not offer to replace filter. It was a shipping thing, but it was also a package thing. I hate being the squeaky wheel. I would prefer them to have sent a replacement filter also.
Mostly USA some China parts like the pump. Runs great now. I think it’s a good purchase.

Generac customer service is awful
I phoned Generac customer service to get help with the hose size for my older Power Washer. I couldn't provide the Model or Serial Number because the label had worn, so the Service rep hung up on me. I'd liked to have found a similar model's hose dimensions.

Will not start.
Absolute trash. Have had the washer serviced every year. Immediately after servicing it will start but as soon as it stops running it won’t start again. I wouldn’t not reccommend this to anyone except my mortal enemy or my mother in law. Then I would pull up a chair abd watch as they sit there for years scratching their heads because it won’t start. The year is 2022, making an engine that starts every time really isn’t that complicated, but these fools at generac have yet to figure it out.
