The Generation Lighting Windgate two light vanity fixture in brushed nickel provides abundant light for your bath vanity, while adding a layer of today's style to your interior design. The Windgate collection by Generation Lighting is a sensibly, modernized and transitional selection of fixtures featuring clean lines and sophisticated Alabaster style glass. The collection works well with a variety of interiors, as it blends well into its surrounding decor. Offered in Brushed Nickel or Heirloom Bronze finishes, as well as a Chrome finish for the wall/bath fixtures only. Hello. What is the distance between the two mounting holes on the backplate?
I have installed many of these fixtures but have never had a reason to measure the distance between these mounting screws. It does mount to a standard 4" round ceiling box normally used for light fixtures using two 8/32 screws. It can also be mounted to a 2x4" switch box if needed. This fixtures do come with a universal mounting ring that will adapt to most normal electrical boxes installed in the center position.
I measured from left to right using the screw caps on the front and from the middle of one screw cap to the other,it is 7 inches. Hope that helps.

Hello Paul, the sockets are rated for (3) Medium A19 100w Max bulbs. You can use any medium base LED bulb in the fixture. Keep in mind that not all LED bulbs dim. Sea Gull also offers this fixture with included dimmable 3000K LED bulbs as model # 44941EN3-782.

how long is the back plate?
Back plate is 20-21 inches long. If you have already purchased, good luck! I just installed this and a) the hole in the plate for the electrical service is 1 1/2 inches off center, and b) the bolts in the back plate which connect to the light fixture itself are also out of level, so level the back plate using these bolts, NOT the edge of the plate.
The backplate is 24 1/8''W x 5''H.
