I needed to purchase this saw because I was installing new a shelve system in my closets. Ordered it from Home Depot and it was delivered within 4 days free of charge. I found the saw very reasonably priced and just right for the job. It performs good clean cuts with the included saw blade. Strong performance from the motor and good safety features. I have not used it for industrial use but this is very good for home use.

I purchased this for light use. So far, I've only used it once, to cut up a pallet to burn in a chiminea. It cut through 1x and 2x pine with no problem, even using the 24T blade that came with it. I've not yet tried precision cutting where I needed to follow a line, nor have I used it with hardwood. Time will tell how it does there.

After a bit of use the motor would not shut...
After a bit of use the motor would not shut off. It went into a very slow RPM but took a giggle or two of the trigger switch to get it to shut off completely. I am returning this saw.
