The product is working flawlessly and I was able to add pull stations to the system by bridging the tandem wire with the neutral via the pull stations. I feel like a saves a bunch over going with a whole fire alarm system from Siemens or the like. The joys of creating a commercial space.

Great Product
Several different types of smoke detectors are available. Ionization smoke detectors are best at detecting fast, flaming fires -- such as those fueled by paper or flammable liquids -- and are commonly used in kitchens. Photoelectric smoke detectors, on the other hand, are better at detecting slow, smoldering fires. These fires are often started by weak heat sources, such as an unextinguished cigarette, in upholstered furniture, bedding, drapery, etc.

Property Manager
I manage an apartment for the disabled and their is two in every apartment. The alarm company wanted to charge over a $1000.00 to send some one from 80 miles away to climb a ladder and install. I picked up the item myself from a home depot 20 miles away. Climb a ladder and install myself. The hardwires were there and it just snaps in place and with a twist it is attached to ceiling. Save my company a lot of money.
