Ease of installation is always a concern when acquiring a new fixture and this one, once you put it together, is like any other light fixture install. Mount the bracket, hook up the wires and secure the fixture to the bracket. The trick on this one is the putting it together before you install it.
It comes all in pieces. It's not particularly hard to assemble...it just takes a while. You have to install the halogen bulb (included, there's even an extra bulb and some extra hardware). Then you must put the wire cage inside the glass cage, slide all of that onto the fixture and then screw it into place. The only hard part is not cross-threading the wire cage. It's awkward to hold onto and you have to balance the glass and metal cages while trying to keep the base in one place. Also, you really don't want to cross-thread it because then you have to unscrew it and the light socket comes unscrewed from the base instead of the cages coming off. Just be careful from the start, have someone help you hold the base and save yourself a lot of frustration.
The light, when completed is really stunning. The chrome parts are very shiny and appear to be high quality chrome plating. The wire cages are sturdy and the glass is well crafted. If this fixture fits aesthetically in your home, you will be happy with your purchase.

This fixture is just perfect for a bathroom. It is rated for a damp location which is relatively rare for ceiling mounted lights. There are also matching wall sconces for use on the wall over your vanity. The style of the light is called "jewel box" if you are looking for matching pieces. The style is neutral enough to be used in virtually any room of the house as well.
It lets off enough light for a medium sized room, but it may not be enough light for a very large room. The amount of light would be sufficient for most bathrooms definitely. The bulbs are the type that you should not touch with your bare hands so be sure to use gloves when installing the bulbs or they will go out prematurely.
The design is very pretty. It is not gaudy, but the silver cage design is just enough to be unique without overpowering. It is simple to install as well.
