Exposed 4-Light Chrome Semi Flush Mount with Tinted Smoke Glass

This light comes with dome glass covers and it requires smaller light bulbs. It can be installed in most locations, I installed it in the guest bedroom and it provides a good lighting in this room. I installed it over eight months ago and it still works great. It required a screwdriver and wire cutter and the installation was very easy. It’s not a high end light so I wouldn’t install in a master bedroom.

You can tell, right out of the box, that this is a very well made light fixture. The chrome finish is smooth and even with no grit or dull areas. All of the welding is done well too. Packed well in the styrofoam for safe shipping. Comes with installation instructions which are easy to follow. It's a basic light fixture install so not a difficult task. Be careful when screwing the bulb socket cover over the glass globe. Do not over-tighten or else the glass will crack/break. Kinda surprised there is no protective piece of foam or buffer just for this reason. You'll also need to have smaller hands or long, skinny fingers to attach the globes to the fixture. Bulb changing should not be as big a deal since one can grab the bulb to screw in or out (carefully). Speaking of - no bulbs (candelabra base) included. Always a disappointment to me. I'm staying with clear bulbs instead of frosted to keep that "Jetsons-modern" look going here and especially because of the smoke glass (which cuts down on the glare a bit). Also staying with round bulbs to keep that round look going - round globes and roundish light fixture. But you could use any candelabra bulbs. I also like that it allows 60 watt bulbs. So many max out at 40 watt bulbs. Losing out on a total of 80 watts based on where you install the fixture can be a huge light reduction. Would be interesting to know if additional globes can be purchased from the manufacturer in case one breaks. It may be possible to change out globes of different shades/colors/patterns to create different lighting. Just be careful to keep in mind the size of the hole for the bulb socket to fit. Very stylish looking light fixture in my stairway turn going to my lower level. It's next to a full size window so even when not turned on, natural light still bounces off the chrome & glass and looks flashy in its new location. A little pricey but I've been getting nice compliments and shouldn't have to be swapped out for a long time, if ever.
