Here we have a great little pocket knife from Gerber. It is perfect for everyday use and fits nicely in my pants pocket. It weighs just over 2 ounces, and is very sharp. It has a slip joint (non-locking blade) so it is easy to open and close. It measures 3.25" when closed, and the blade is about 2.5" long. There is a lanyard hole if you want to attach one. I always carry a knife, and this is my new favorite. Nice!

The Gerber Wingtip slip Joint pocket knife is easy for me to open and comfortable to hold. It weighs in at a fairly hefty 58 g (2 oz), which is heavier than my 3-blade bone-handle pocket knife. It feel a bit heavy in my pants pocket, but not uncomfortably so. It’s an attractive knife and it gets the job done. I’ve had it about a week and have used it to open cardboard boxes, cut and sharpen small-diameter dowel rods, and trim a couple of hangnails–the usual kinds of tasks for which I carry a pocket knife. The downside is that the knife was made in China, and the blade is made of a relatively inexpensive Chinese-produced stainless steel (7Cr) that has a reputation for not holding a sharp edge, even when used for light blade work. That said, I’ve found that it’s pretty easy to quickly sharpen the edge using a fine or extra-fine diamond whetstone. I use a diamond whetstone to sharpen all my stainless-steel blades. I think the Gerber 2.5 inch Wingtip is a good value for the price.

This Gerber pocket knife is 2 1/2 inches in length, great looking and just plain durable. My hands don't work so well after all the years of abuse and to work a small pocket knife is getting to be tough with all the locking systems knifes have now. I got this Gerber because of the name, no lock and how it looked. I use it about 100 times a day opening cardboard boxes and plastic wrappers for repair parts, this it does great for me, I drop it into my pocket and the shape let's it slide to the bottom no problem. I have been using it now for about 3 weeks and today was the first time I had to put it to a sharpening stone. It really holds a cutting edge well. 15 swipes on a whet stone and it was really sharp again. This is a good knife to keep at the bottom of your pocket, just don't lend it out!

It’s a Gerber, so you know it has a company behind it with a strong history of making knives and multi function tools. I have carried a small retracting blade for years, but knew it was time to replace it and this knife fit my needs perfectly. Nice and lightweight design. Handle is easy to grip, and the blades is @2.5 inches in length so perfect for cutting open those boxes I get from online shopping. Used it to easily cut the hospital band my wife had placed on her wrist during out patient surgery. Folds easily and fits nicely in my pocket.

Gerber Wingtip 2.5 in. Slip Joint Pocket Knife I have carried a pocket knife for over 60 years and this is one of the best I have ever carried. Slip joint mechanism requires no lock to open or close which I really like for my everyday use. The blade is mirror polished and comes sharp enough to shave right out of the package. The fingernail nick makes opening the knife very easy & the knife includes a lanyard hole if you wish to use it. Also the knife has an aluminum handle & has enough weight and grip that it makes using it very enjoyable.

The Wingtip by Gerber is a drop tip knife has a stainless steel 2.5 inch blade. It has such a soft arch across the top of the blade and handle, that it does not look like it is a drop point. This knife does not have a belt clip to snag things when in your pocket. This also makes this small compact knife belong inside you pocket. Since there is no locking blade, just remember to be vigilant when using it. A good designed pocket knife that fits with out revealing that you have it in your pocket or purse. The expertise from design to making the finished knife is seen in The Wingtip by Gerber. Not only is it good looking it stays sharp and is easy to put your own edge on the blade. The photos attached show how easily it slices through soft Panettone cake and a hard Meyer lemon without mushing the soft cake or having to hack into the lemon. The Wingtip I can recommend to you as it is well made and a handy small knife.
