how wide is the pannel?
These are right around 27” wide. Each panel is designed to cover a 24” wide section with enough extra to overlap the panels on either side so they don’t leak.
Can this sheets b used for closing the sides of trailers
Thank you for your inquiry. Walking on the panels is not recommended. Also Utility gauge is the lightest metal panel we offer.
The roofing is coated with zinc, which protects the steel from rusting. Any holes in the roofing will expose the steel, and allow rust. When the zinc wears off, the sheets rust. Roofing like this typically lasts decades. If it's in a harsh environment, the lifespan is shorter. For example, leaving acidic oak leaves on the roof will cause the zinc to corrode quicker. I used this roofing on sheds that I designed and built for storing firewood, equipment, and an outdoor bathtub for the wife. I also used it for walls on the bathing sheds, to give it a rustic vibe. No, the panels are not painted.
The Galvanized Panels can be painted or be special ordered in a pre-painted finish. IF you decide to paint we recommend using a good quality DTM paint (Direct To Metal). To prepare the surface wipe down with vinegar to remove any residue that may remain from fabricating.
Each panel weighs 9.21 pounds.
Look in the specs. It's about 25".
