Thank you for your inquiry and I'm sorry you are having a difficult time locating the product you need. You were given the correct information, SKU 669776 is the active SKU# for the 6"X6" Angle "L" Flashing, though it is not stocked in all locations, maybe this is the issue. Please call me, 904-699-4260 and lets see if I can help you find what you are looking for. Thanks, Laura
Thank you for your inquiry. This L Flashing also comes in 6 in. x 6 in. x 10 you can find it here: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Construction-Metals-6-in-x-6-in-x-10-ft-Galvanized-Steel-90-L-Flashing-LF66G/202093020. We do not offer any other lengths or larger widths sorry.
Thank you for your inquiry. L-Flashing is nailed to the sidewall with roofing nails. It is not nailed through the deck flange. So, in this case, “How do I avoid nail pops on the deck?” We don't recommend using them. Please see our L-Flashing Installation Guide here https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/24/244d4da6-2cc4-4318-8b61-a49623852cad.pdf The L-Flashing angle can be opened using a flashing brake which can be rented at some Home Depots: https://www.homedepot.com/tool-truck-rental/Aluminum-Brake-10/TM10/
Yes you could use it on a patio. We used it to seal the gap between the house and the roof we put over the deck. We did not use caulk though. We used roofing tar because we installed shingles on the roof. Hope this is helpful.
Thank you for your inquiry. We do not recommend bending it. To make a corner, we would recommend to cut it with tin snips, and overlap the pieces in the corner.
Yes, this product can be used as edge flashing for decking.
Hi Phil, thank you for your question. This item does not come in brown. However, this galvanized flashing can be painted brown after being primed with a 50/50 water vinegar mix prior to painting. Have a great day.
It would be able to withstand 400 deg. with ease. My only concern would be if, being galvanized, the metal could potentionaly off-gas noxious fumes. I'm not stating that I know this only that it would seem possible to me that it could.
Yes! I cut with aviation snips.
