Gibraltar's 50 sq. in. roof vent is made from UV resistant high density polyethylene plastic. Color stabilizers are incorporated during manufacturing to minimize fading.     A:  You didn't answer the question. they are not ask where to place the vent but what pitch can this vent accommodate. for example will it work on a 4/12 pitch? how about a 12/12 pitch or how about in my case in a victorian house a 24/12 pitch roof? thanx

      A:  Thank you for your question, This vent should be installed within two feet (24 in.) of the roof peak.

            A very good aluminum roof vent which can be used to vent an enclosed container. I used it to vent a large outside plastic storage container box for 2 LP tanks. I installed side vents as well to make sure it was vented properly. This aluminum roof vent also has a built-in bug screen which is needed.
