AnswersIf you go to Home Depot on-line and type in the question box: Arlington Premium steel post-mount mailbox, then go to the bottom of the page on the right hand side you will see warranty. click on that and you will find the address and the phone Number of Solar, the company that sells these mailboxes. Contact them; you may be able to purchase a new door or whatever else you need from them.

Purchased 6 of these mailboxes when we replaced our small HOA's mailbox frame. All of our residents voted for this mailbox over the other options available. I felt it was an easy install - but I'd guess that it wouldn't be any more difficult or easy from other models. We did upgrade from a medium size boxes to large boxes. Numerous residents felt this was an upgrade because the larger capacity allows for the protected delivery of the increased number of products being delivered via mail. Previously only small packages could fit.
Door Broke Off - Stress Fracture

After purchasing this product, the door of the mailbox broke off due to a clean stress fracture. The door hinge is still attached to the mailbox post as seen in the pictures. Expectations not met in terms of material quality, especially since the mailbox is made of steel. I have emailed the manufacturer about this issue and have yet to receive a response. I do not recommend this product.

The box is definitely larger than the standard size that one sees along any road. That was important as people are getting more and more items coming in the mail. I was replacing two neighbor mail boxes at the same time and wanted them all to look alike. The box is sheet steel - a bit stronger than the standard aluminum ones. The price was certainly not inexpensive, but you have to step up for higher quality. I'm pretty pleased with the boxes and my installation.

This mailbox was inatalled at pur home when we purchased it but the door had split in half and was repaired poorly by the previous owner. I lived with it until one of the hinges broke so i replaced it with a new one. Within a year the hinge broke on the new box. I dont know what the door is made up but it seems extremely brittle. I glued the hinge back together but now the area where the handle mounts has broke so there’s nothing for the handle to mount to. There are already stress cracks forming at the bottom of the door again so I don’t expect this to last much longer

Mailbox arrived today. While I was attempting to install the box I realized it was missing the red flag for outgoing mail. That must cost extra. *sarcasm* Will return and order another since they don't carry it in any local store. Hopefully new box will have all of the parts.

Functional, reliable, and beautiful

At first when shopping for a mailbox, I wanted a standard size one since it looked more traditional and cute, like the old days of glass coke bottles. However, with the new age of the internet, we occasionally get bigger pieces of mail and packages so I settled on this size instead and it can amazingly fit a Digiorno pizza inside easily without bending or folding! While big, it doesn't look like its oversized sitting in front of your house. Gives your overall house an instant improvement. I modified the flag little by adding another nylon washer so it wouldn't feel so wobbly. Install takes about 2 hours and you will need 2 bags of cement, not one if you want it to stand sturdy and you can fill the post up with cement as well (I bought the steel square post).
The results speak for themselves...
