For the money a great mailbox. It would be good if it was an inch taller so a regular sized envelope would fit without the end of envelope having to be bent down. All in all a good mailbox for the money.

The mailbox is the perfect size. Envelopes fit just right, and it isn't that big either. I needed to fit two on my porch of my 2-family. I did have to slightly bend the back edge of the lid to get it to open fully and not hit the wall (maybe it's my wall). I do wish that the Fleur-de-lis was made in silver though. Great mailbox!

Tiny mailbox
My landlord installed this mailbox after the old one broke and it’s way too small. Standard letter sized envelopes are too tall to close the lid without bending them not to mention magazines or anything larger than a greeting card. The lid is also difficult to open and close. Would not recommend. I’m asking my landlord for a different one. I’ll buy one myself if I have to.

Minor problems, serves the need
No mounting hardware was supplied. Mounting this against a wall caused the back of the hinged top cover to bind a bit at the rear, so I added a back spacer panel. The little plastic decorative badge wouldn't press fit into the front holes provided no matter how hard I pressed, so I had to drill them out a bit. Otherwise, nicely finished with no sharp edges.
