This inexpensive but attractive double post mailbox is a good value. I wanted two posts to make it more stable since we receive a lot of items from online shopping. I used an iron digging bar to make holes to insert the posts. It only took about 15 minutes to mount it directly in the firm clay soil found in this area. The instructions say for a permanent placement you should pour a concrete footing. The finish is rust resistant so I don’t have to worry about stains on my mail. It was very easy to erect using just a few simple tools and the easy to follow instructions

This mailbox is what I’ve been looking for because it’s easy to install and it doesn’t require a permanent post. I needed this for my three season cottage as my local postal service will not delivery mail without a mailbox as they are not allowed to walk up to my deck to leave the mail by the front door. This fixed the temporary issue of getting things delivered when I order things during the summer. I will probably remove it during the winter and leave in my garage as I don’t know how moist the ground will get and maybe the snow plow might knock it down. The material of the mailbox is not very sturdy, but for the price it’s still a great value.

This MAILBOX AND POST COMBO by Gibralter is an good product with some nice feature. It is made of galvanized steel and with a clean black finish. It comes with a decorative 2 piece "post". It is simple to assemble. This setup would be good for when a temporary Mailbox is needed for seasonal living. Put it in when you get there and pick it up when you leave. Or for non-street locations such as someone with a physical challenge that can get mail delivered near their house versus at the street. A permanent mailbox on a street really needs an deep post...probably set in concrete to withstand snow plows and other things that might disturb it.

The Gibraltar Mailboxes "mailbox to go" black galvanize steel and included post combo in black also arrived in a timely manner all inclusive and well packaged inside a Gibraltar carton. I selected it because of the name Gibraltar. I like the galvanized painted steel. The specific feature is the included matching color post. I will replace our worn out mailbox and home made wooden post with this combo kit. The quality is good and will last many, many years, (provided the town plow doesn't knock it over). It will be easy to install and work out as planned. I like the kit a lot.

Great mail box! It was very easy to put together. The entire thing weights 10 pounds and i was able to assemble and install in about a half hour. I have many mail boxes all over our homestead. They are excellent for storing hand tools just where they need to be located, no long walks back to pick up a trowel and i also can store the gardening master plan down in the garden along with any specific for that area tools. Saves me countless steps in a years time. This one is perfect! Sometime down the road i will pretty them up some!

This Gilbraltar Mailbox is a Great Mailbox and value. It is solid, galvanized metal all in shiny black finish, Comes with all the hardware needed for an easy install, it has a really cool Eagle attached along with "MAIL" stamped into the metal door. I like that it looks official and it's larger then the old box I had in place. Now it should be easy for the postman to fill it without having to jam up correspondence and catalogs along with the small packages. I have started ordering a lot more online now and I don't have to worry about the mail box size anymore. I've secured the post with instant concrete and we're ready to go. Definitely will recommend this mailbox.
