Our bathroom is on the second floor but the window is placed in the shower so if you look up you can clearly see ones upper torso. Would someone still be able to see us through this or does it block it enough?
No...there is not enough privacy. My window is also in the shower. I did have to add a shade for full privacy when showering. However, I do like it for the privacy it provides and the natural light it allows through when the full privacy not required.
The Gila Frosted Tile film will offer you 24 hour privacy. You will however still be able to see the shapes of someone behind the filmed glass.

We had this EXACT same problem at my house. To answer you honestly, NO it is NOT enough. We put it on our window inside our shower, only to have our neighbors across the street tell us they could still see us, and they could see EVERYTHING. We opted to paint over the glass, then install a blind over that.

Will this stay up if I use on in a window that is in a shower (water will hit it)?
I would be doubtful that the product will work well in that situation. It is not glued to the window, and will slide / shift positions if the right pressure is applied. I reckon the humidity and contact of the water will make the film slide with very little effort, including incidental contact. If it is applied to the "outside" of glass shower walls/doors it might work, although there again the humidity and temperature fluctuations could diminish its adherence.
