30 in. Black Basic Steel Plant Stand

Not very strong, can’t put a large plant on it safely

The attached label states this will accommodate a 10" pot which it does. I inferred that it would handle a pot that is 11.37" wide based on the ordering. I wanted it to hold a food recycling bucket but I'll use it for a plant. Well made, good for a plant.

These were perfect perches for my plants in my bedroom... They are fairly inexpensive and sturdy. High enough, without being too high and unsteady/top-heavy, to receive the sunlight through the windows that I placed them in front of. Plus, I don't have to worry about any spills staining or ruining my furniture-like I would have if I had placed the plants on them, either. Also, they can hold up to a 10" pot, so as my plants grow, they won't outgrow their perches any time soon. ...Perfect plant perches!

Great quality, thick and sturdy. For it being taller in this style, I do not find it to be wobbly at all!

I recommend this plant stand ONLY if it is used a certain way. I have had many of these stands over the years for both inside and outside the house. “Back in the day” they were sturdy enough you could use them and generally not worry about it tipping over easily. I still have a few that I have had for at least 15-20 years, maybe more. However, these new stands are nowhere near the weight of the older ones. They are very flimsy and would need something to anchor them, or be put up against a wall or somewhere they won’t fall over....no matter what size or weight the pot put in it. I ordered two, and both had the rubber feet on all three legs. They are also plastic coated. On my older ones, after years of outside use (under a roof), the plastic coating eventually cracked off. I just pulled the rest off and spray painted them. That was in the Midwest. I live in FL now. That plastic coating might last one year. But what I am using these “stands” for is perfect. I took the rubber feet off and shoved the stands into the ground. Here hanging pots get very heavy in summer with all the rain, and hooks either end up bending or eventually fall down because of the sandy soil. Outdoor pot stands that you can just push into the soil for pots are impossible to find, or very expensive. So these are a perfect solution for this kind of use.
