Q:My shower wand handle/base is too large to fit in the holder. I do not see a way to change it out, so keep this in mind if you are considering this item. You may have to switch your wand out to a smaller one, so it fits properly.

They keep breaking
Have had 4 of these all break, the longest the same one has lasted is 3 months. Just bought one again and right after I installed it and turned on the water to test it it broke right away. The same thing has failed on all of them. The plastic breaks on the adjuster and pops off and sprays water everywhere. That piece should be made out of metal instead of plastic. Worst product I’ve ever used. Can’t believe they still sell this design.

Doesn't hold the shower head up
Completely useless. When you insert the shower head in the holder, it swivels forward and the shower head falls out. Sometimes it does this immediately; other times it waits until the water is running and drops it on your head. The construction is flimsy, with inadequate tension, and there is no way to adjust it. (It might work with an equally flimsy, lightweight shower head; not with a Waterpik.) Incidentally, there is no such thing as "one size fits all." The end of the shower hose where it attaches to the handheld shower head is what needs to fit. The shower hose that I bought from the same rack in Home Depot some time ago does not fit all the way into this holder (see picture) (but it would probably stay in place, if the holder didn't rotate forward and drop it out).

Poor quality, leaks ferociously over time
Cheap plastic, internal gaskets failing after. Leaking through valve handle and progressively getting worse and worse. Plan on replacing after a few short years.
