AnswersI made the assumption that the longer line was for hot water. The result is when the handle is pushed to the back I get hot water and cold when pushed to the front. This is exactly opposite of how my kitchen faucet works but since there is no marking on the Dunning faucet I see no harm in the difference. Very easy to correct if needed.
How does this differ from a "Kitchen" faucet? Would it work as a kitchen faucet?

Poor Poor quality. Very hard to attach the supply lines. Could never tighten enough to stop them from leaking. If I put too much pressure on the connections the thin copper supply line that runs up the middle bends and twists to the point of breaking.

Beautiful! I really like this faucet, and it would look nice in a kitchen…in fact, I think my mom may have the same spray head in her kitchen, making me think that Glacier Bay used some of its most popular and most reliable parts to put together a high-quality laundry faucet. I installed this on our plastic wash tub sink on the back patio that gets tons of use, almost daily, so the anticipated reliability is of supreme importance to me.
Installation into the plastic laundry tub required enlarging the center hole on the sink with a 1.5” hole saw, which is a pain since there’s no pilot bit engagement. Once drilled, the faucet installed easily.
The copper lines are much more significant than I’d expect from a laundry faucet. I really like having flexible hoses on faucets, but I do like that these are serious, pro-grade connections. These copper lines will outlast my supply line.
I use my hose bib to supply water to the sink. I installed a compression dishwasher elbow (typically comes in a dishwasher water line kit) onto the hose bib, then added the long dishwasher supply line so I can move the sink around if needed. I installed a compression ¾” to 3/8” adaptor on the faucet supply and then connected the dishwasher supply line to my new adapter. That adaptor needed to be tightened a lot so it wouldn’t leak, but once tight the faucet works perfectly!
I only have one water feed hooked up (i.e. only cold, not hot), so if we turn it on to mix the water temps then some leaks out the open side of the faucet. I should cap off the hot water side, but we’ve run it like this for the last four years without problem.
Our work sink is used almost daily, so it makes sense to have a nice faucet that is a pleasure to use. The Dunning laundry faucet is a huge hit with me and my kids.

Thought we'd try this Glacier Bay brand, pull-out dual spray laundry faucet in stainless steel, to replace the "basic" laundry faucet that was installed by our builder 13 years ago. All parts for a proper install come with this faucet, except for the water supply hoses, which you'll have to purchase separately. I purchased the steel braided hoses from HD-measure carefully the length you'll need, as they come in a variety of sizes. Note that you may have to cut a center access hole for this faucet in your existing sink (as I had to do, as the old faucet was a two-hole mount.) So I had to go to HD and purchase a 1 & 1/4" hole saw to drill out the fiberglass sink in order to mount this one. No problem though, as the furnished cover plate covers the existing two holes adequately. Other than that, the install was pretty routine. We like the two spray patterns and the faucet pulls out far enough to be very helpful when bathing the dog in the laundry tub. Overall, a good product so far.

The Glacier Bay Dunning laundry faucet has two spray patterns. One is an aerated stream. The other has a strong spray. If you already have a laundry sink, you know how invaluable it is. The flow is strong on both settings with approximately 60 psi and 3/8” Suppy lines. Typical connection. The installation on my sink required drilling a center hole. But, the faucet came with a flange to cover 4” center holes. The faucet is made of chrome and plastic. Fine for a laundry sink. You’ll need flexible supply lines to make connections for hot and cold water. Much better than the standard faucet I had before.

We are in the process of re-doing our laundry room and had purchased a new utility sink in black which I thought was pretty great as I'm hoping that the black color won't show as much wear. This laundry faucet in black will perfectly fit with the sink and I'm hoping it also won't show a lot of wear because of the black finish. It comes very well packaged and the installation instructions are not an issue for someone who has installed faucets before. Will have to see how it holds up once we install and use for a few months.

I was looking to upgrade our laundry sink faucet to one with a spray head. This fixture exceeded my expectations! The materials are well made and have good weight to them. By following the instructions that were included in the box, it was a breeze to follow and install. No plumber needed here to install. Any DIY'er or weekend novice can do this. The only special tools I needed was a hole saw and drill to make a center hole in the fiberglass surface.

This faucet has a nice brushed metal look and feels the part. The sprayer head is mostly composed of plastic and feels a little cheap though. The 2 copper water supply tubes were slightly bent on arrival which wasn’t great to see. Installation of this product was a mixed bag. The instructions were thorough and well written although we couldn’t follow them to a T. The water supply copper tubes on the faucet were especially problematic, as they are inflexible and should not be bent and were located much too close together for wrenching. A recommendation for future product iterations would be to use flex lines instead. This required the water supply lines from the house valves to be uninstalled and connected to the faucet supply lines first above the sink before installing the faucet. It would be nice if this kit also included a small amount of silicone to seal the deck lid with since that is dictated in the instructions, as well as new supply water hoses to the house valves. The product works well once installed with good pressure for both the single hose and spray patterns. There’s plenty of hose for the sprayer to stretch out and reach far areas of the sink and the sprayer head comes out very far when it’s seated in its holster, making washing things easy in a big sink. Overall I’m pleased with how the product operates.

The Glacier Bay Dunning Single-Handle Pull-Out Laundry faucet with Dual Spray Function is by far one of the best items I have installed and used in a long time. It was so easy to install, after drilling a new hole in the center, between the two old holes. The faucet is secured in position by tightening two screws with a screw driver. This Faucet made my laundry tub a lot more versatile. It makes cleaning items easier by having the faucet in the center of the tub, and being able to use the spray option. ( And there is no more excuses not to clean the tub after using)

I received the Dunning Single-Handle Pull-Out Laundry Faucet with Dual Spray Function in Chrome as part of the seed program for an honest review. This Faucet is much heavier duty that I expected for a laundry sink. I have an outdoor sink which came with a cheap facet made out of plastic, it didn’t last long. Install of this one was straight forward and pretty easy. Note that if you need new water supply lines as I did they are not included, but a quick trip to Home Depot solved that. See my photos for pictures of my old faucet compared to the Dunning, also the pictures of the dual spray mode. It’s working great and I have no doubt that this will last for years.

THE GLACIER BAY DUNNING SINGLE-HANDLE PULL-OUT LAUNDRY FAUCET WITH DUAL SPRAY FUNCTION IN MATTE BLACK is a must have in your laundry sink. The pullout faucet is fabulous for rinsing things off or even for clean the sink after use. The black matte finish is outstanding.
