Hoses are approximately 12" too long, so cannot install. How can this be corrected?
Thank you. The hoses are designed to be installed on the sub-floor level and that is why the hoses are the length they are. There is no way to shorten the hoses.
Is a separate plumbing valve required?

Is the hand shower metal or plastic?

Can the valve be adjusted to set a max water temperature?
Thank you. This does not have a scald guard limiter on the valve.
No. Max temp is determined by what your water heater is. If your concern is young children in the tub, they would need adult supervision.

I am not sure which valve you are referring to. Some faucets need a valve at water connection point. This faucet does *not* come with the valve. it hooks up directly to plumbing outlets in similar way as your bathroom vanity faucet hook up to the hot and cold water pipes under the sink. As such there is no mechanism to adjust the water temperature at the connection point. if your question is regarding the mixer on the faucet itself then there is no mechanism to set the max temperature ... other than to adjust the temperature via faucet handle. hope this helps.
It is a regular faucet with a handle that controls temperature. The max temperature will have to come from youre hot water heater.

Thank you. because of the complexity installing and running lines in concrete, we don't recommend installing these in a concrete floor.
It would be fairly difficult. ideally, this faucet is deck mounted as you need access to connect the water supply lines. Unless you have a way to do so in cement slab it would be difficult install.
