Paulina Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with TurboSpray, FastMount and Soap Dispenser in Chrome

Incredibly easy and fast to install, clean lines and great value. In use for about 4 weeks. A little wobbly where the neck pivots, but the positives far outweigh any negatives with this faucet. Highly recommend for the price point.

As a plumber I’ve installed hundreds of faucets of pretty much every brand imaginable. Because of that I look for quality at a good price. I got this faucet to replace the kitchen faucet in a rental but I’m going to install it in the laundry sink instead. The bright chrome finish is very good and the appearance is simple and stylish. There are not a lot of nooks and crannies for splashes to hide so cleaning should be easy and effortless. The braided supply lines and spray hose are very flexible unlike the very cheap models on the market. The supplies will screw directly onto a standard 3/8” compression thread found on the under sink valves in most homes. Glacier Bay has a couple of useful innovations. 1, the “nut” that usually is used to attach the faucet to the sink has been replaced with an all plastic self tightening unit that slides over the threads then is hand tightened to hold the faucet firmly in place. I like this innovation but in very tight quarters it won’t work. I wish they also included the old fashioned nut 2, the weight that is used to pull the sprayer back in place has a slot instead of being completely solid. This allows the installer to complete the installation without having the weight dangling in their face and since it can be installed any time there isn’t that dangit moment when you forget to install it. There are a couple things that could make this better. The soap dispenser is all plastic. There is no aerator removal tool included. The sprayer doesn’t have the rubber tips that allow the deposits to be easily cleaned. I think I need a more durable faucet for the kitchen so I’ll use it to wash the dog in the laundry sink.

I was surprised at how light this faucet was, it does not have the heft of some other all-metal faucets. The spray head is all plastic, the J arm is thin sheet metal with a plastic liner, the base is a thin sheet metal over a plastic valve assembly. The thread mount is aluminum, not brass. The included soap dispenser is all plastic. Installation was tricky because it uses a tool-less collar that is supposed to be tightened by hand. There is almost no space behind my sink, and I could not get a full grip to tighten it. The result was a somewhat wobbly faucet. The handle operates smoothly, and it gives good control over both flow and temperature. It works well at super low flow, which is nice if you are trying to conserve water while washing dishes by hand. The spray pattern is a straight, narrow column. It has good force, but the down side is that it creates a lot of splash when it hits the bottom of the sink. It does a good job at removing stuff from dishes though. Supply connections are standard and easy to install. The pull-down hose connector is a quick-connect type and uses double o-rings; it sealed well and did not leak. The pull-down seems a bit rough, you can feel the hose dragging on the liner. Combined with the wobbly installation, it was not a good quality feel. The J arm is super light weight, and it swings freely, but the pull-down hose is stiff and has a permanent curve to it, so the arm will not stay put when I swing it to one side. This is a functional faucet, but it has too many quirks for me. It's a good value, and if you need a basic faucet on a budget, you might like this, but I think there are better choices.

Very nice faucet. As with any silver/chrome faucet, you will have to keep it cleaned. Finger prints, water marks, etc stand out a lot. Installation is pretty standard. It looks great with most types of sinks/counter tops. I strongly recommend this for most applications/settings. Even if you haven't installed a faucet before, just follow the instructions. It's pretty straight forward.

This Glacier Bay pull-down sprayer (Model HD67780-1001, Made in China) is a budget-friendly faucet, but it works. I put it in a workshop sink and installation was pretty easy; it took under 15 minutes to install, although I skipped the soap dispenser since I didn't have a 4-hole sink. The only tool needed is a wrench to install the supply hoses to your the supply valves. There is a clever design for locking the unit in place that involves pushing a single large “Fastmount” nut up the threaded shaft from underneath, then hand-turning a few turns to tighten. The large nut is bulky though, making it difficult to turn in the tight space between my sink bowl and the cabinet back (see photo). I spent most of the installation time trying to tighten that nut. The head pulls out about 16”, depending on where you locate the weight, and retracts fairly well. The push-button to change between stream and spray works well and the spray comes out as a narrow beam (see photo). Two things about this unit I dislike. First, it looks and feels very cheap, almost like chrome-covered plastic. Second, the faucet itself rotates too easily in the base, so much so that I had to carefully adjust the twist in the supply hoses to point the faucet forward in it's “resting” position, and it tends to drift when rotated. Overall, this is a nice, utility grade faucet at a good price.

Glacier Bay Paulina Single-Handle Pull Down Sprayer Faucet with Soap Dispenser I have been wanting to replace the faucet for my utility sink for years. My sister-in-law replaced her kitchen faucet earlier this year and I absolutely loved it. It was the Glacier Bay Paulina model. She loves it. I liked the way it didn’t reach out that far in the sink, it was a nice clean contemporary look, the operation of the sprayer was easy to use. The faucet has a nice weight to it and is well constructed. I am bummed that I have to wait until after Thanksgiving to have it installed but that’s when our plumber will have time to do it. If your looking for a contemporary look this faucet fits the bill.

This Kitchen Faucet is Just what the doctor ordered. Clean looking. The "Turbo spray" works much easier & better than my old unit. having the raised button is easy to press to activate or de-activate. The Soap dispenser is nothing special although it does install very quickly with its own fast mount nut. The faucet installs Very fast. Using the New Fast mount tech. simply drop the hoses through the top of the counter. slide the nut up them on to the threaded shaft. A couple quick twists of the wrist & that is done. Connect the water lines. Also the weight that keeps the head retracted mounts easilty without tools unlike all that i have dealt with in the past..

This is a nice looking faucet. It seems to work well and its fairly quiet but it does not appear to be as substantial as other Glacier Bay products. It's so lightweight that it feels almost like plastic. But the bottom line is that it just feels light but works fine. One thing's for sure ... it has a very shiny finish - almost mirror like. The soap dispenser works great.
