I do not know, as I have not needed a longer hose. Try using Home Depot's online chat feature to speak with one of their Pro Team members. Perhaps they can help.
I have not had any issues with the sprayer leaking. You could attach the spray unit , coil it up and support it under the sink and out of the way.
Most of the older models used threaded connections. Many of the new units are equipped with plug in connections.
I would call that store and ask to speak with the manager. Explain why you would like them to stock this model.
I suggest turning off the water supply, loosen the handle set screw and remove the cartridge. Inspect for any scale build up. If the cartridge needs to be replaced, take it to the Plumbing Pro in your local Home Depot store. They can supply a replacement for you.
