A: Did in my house…
A: the largest opening to fit this cabinet is15x24.75 inches
A: My flange measures 15 3/4" wide on the outside edges but they curve in do about 15 1/4". Since it screws in at an angle from the inside and it has a plastic (ie flexible) shell, you should still shim it or use another scrap of wood in the gap and will need to use longer screws. Otherwise it will bend out of shape and you may have issues with the shelves sliding in. If you care that your longer screws don't have the same white heads, you can invest in a little bottle of white nail enamel and hide it.
A: This can be installed tp open left or right. Simply remove the shelves, pick the orientation, and pop the shelves back in once secured to the wall.
