AnswersI don't know the inner or outer diameter of the threaded end, but it is all standard fittings. Unless you have an unusual kitchen sink, the bottom of the basket, threads and all, will be the same.

Piece of crap will fall apart and ruin your cabinets

In their efforts to provide low prices Home Depot sells strainers like this that are complete crap and will fail and do hundreds or thousands of dollars of damage to your cabinets. Don't buy them. Buy the ones that are all stainless and brass. THe metal of this one is called "pot metal" and is whatever cheap crap the seller wants it to be. The stainless only refers to the basket.
Note the picture. Home Depot does sell better quality ones - you need to spend $30 to get a strainer that won't fall apart and leak,

I replaced both side of the sink with these. Really like the larger bowl then other brands as well as the ones I replaced. Was easy to install. Also really like the click in stoppers.
Product worked as it should, Just remember to put some plumbers putty before set in sink to set.
