Q:What is single flush?
by|Feb 19, 2022
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Hello Melba, A single flush is a standard toilet, where when flushed it releases the same volume of water. This is opposed to a dual flush, where the user has two flushing options. A full flush mode when wanting to remove solid waste. When just wanting to remove liquid waste, the user can choose the reduced flush option , which releases less water into the flush; a water saving option.

A:  Hello Al, These are strange times. Most likely due to stock not being available at distribution centers. Also, as with other fields, shortage of drivers for transportation & extended lead times.

Good toilet at a good price
I bought this toilet online so wasn't sure what to expect but I'm happy with my purchase. I had it installed a couple of days ago and so far everything is good. It has a very short flush, which I'm getting used to but overall I like it. The tank is small compared to the base of the toilet so it looks a little lop sided but it all works well. It's taller than the small old toilet it replaced, which also takes a little getting used to. Overall, I like the toilet and have no regrets with my purchase. It had free delivery so that was a big bonus for me.

            Very poor flush _
On 4/11/22 I purchased this toilet from Home Depot. I didn’t have it installed until a month ago due to the renovation my condo. When I purchased the commode I asked the sales person if this was a dual flush toilet. He told me “it was a super Duper flush“. He lied to make a sale. I now have A toilet that doesn’t completely flush. I have to stand there and wait to flush a second and sometimes a third time. I have cancer and I am on chemo. I hate to be so blunt. Due to my chemo I have a lot of diarrhea. This becomes a problem for me. I’m going back to Home Depot on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard I need to exchange it for a dual flush. I don’t know what they will do because it’s a sanitary issue now. In good faith and I’m a very good customer they should exchange it for a dual flush at no extra cost. I had to pay for it to be installed and they replace it then I have to pay for it to be removed. I need some help please.

              Great buy.
Easy to install. This toilet flushes more forceful than our old one plus uses less water each flush.

              Warning - Potty Words!
Warning - This review contains potty words! Has a toilet ever upset you enough to write a review about it?! We've had this toilet now for almost 3 years and each time I poop in it, I swear that I will write a review to warn others. Consider today your lucky day. Run away from this toilet and don't look back!! When you poop in this toilet, gravity pulls it straight down and plops it onto a place inside the bowl that does not have water on it. The velocity of gravity and the dry surface of the bowl creates a sticky situation. When you flush, the water comes out in a swirly motion and it literally swirls AROUND the poop. So, after you flush, you stand there staring at a pile of poop, in shock. You flush again, thinking maybe you didn't hold the handle down long enough. No luck! Now, your guests are wondering why you've flushed the toilet so many times and why your house is beginning to smell like poop. In order to make the poop go down, you must manually push it down the ramp of the toilet bowl. After pushing it down the ramp, you now have a wide, long streak in the toilet. You now have a choice of flushing several more times to erase the streak or using the toilet brush and then flushing the residue. Long story short: It takes about 5-7 flushes to destroy all evidence of your bowel movement. The only way to flush once and remove all evidence is if you had completely liquid poops because even semi-soft ones are hard to flush! This is by far the most frustrating, hard-to-clean toilet we've ever had! (I mean, seriously - upset enough to write a review about a toilet?! I'm disappointed in myself AND the toilet.) We will be replacing the toilet within the next few months.

                Not so much...
Bought in 2018...First issue - #2 has always stuck to the bowl...need multiple flushes to clean properly. Second issue - soft close seat has lost its soft close pressure and flops down. Is this tough luck - warranty over -- buy a new seat...or is there another option?

I like the extra height. Elongated bowl. Good design and price was ok. Flush is good.

Fantastic flushing - high glaze for easy cleaning
We bought two , renovating the house, and they are great, they flush perfectly with little water! The bowl has great glazing which makes cleaning so much easier. And the price is very good. I would recommend to anyone,

                  Bowl does not stay clean
Like another reviewer, I would say this toilet is the hardest to keep clean of any toilet we've ever had. #2 just sticks right to the sides even though they claim it won't AND you have to give it a hard scrub at that to clean it. I've never seen a manufacturer make that claim before on a toilet. I should've seen that as a red flag when we bought it!
