A: No, at least not for us and we have well water/well pumps so things tend to corrode easier and we usually get less life out of water related items. Also, it can also be bypassed if it were an issue (per my husband who is quite the "handyman" so I'm not sure if that's true for everyone). We saw in the reviews some said it had low flow, faucet broke after a week, month, whatever but, ours still looks and works like new!
A: Took the cartridge off and saw that it was not set right, since it’s a one way valve, took a small screwdriver to reset the valve and bam! Just like new. Easy fix
