How do these stand up to vibration? I'm interested in vehicle and marine applications, where the walls move and vibrate quite a bit.
I cannot directly answer this question since I am using the system on my garage walls. I can tell you that the system is very sturdy and the pieces you attach to the wall system are very snuggly seated into the wall panel. We do own a boat so I am familiar with boat vibration. I would say that the pieces will stay on the wall panel underway on a boat. How you attach the wall panel to the boat/vehicle to facilitate security against the vibration to keep the panel on the wall will be your greatest obstacle.
Hole at the bottom of the accessories
It's been awhile since i installed my gladiator gear track but I believe I used the size screws that were recommended in the instructions.
Hello CUAviator, Unfortunately, the hooks and accessories do not have a hole/s to screw them directly in to the walls. They are mean to be installed on the GearTrack channel or GearWall panels.
Will this system work with cinder block walls
As long as you have the proper anchors and drill bit to mount the rail.

Can the various Gladiator hook accessories snap in, or do they all need to be slid in?
you don't have to slide them in. you angle them in to the top rail, lower it into place, then pull down and snap the hook into the lower rail.
