These did the trick for a frame large picture frame I built. It was pine, so I can't speak for how they work in hardwoods, but these saved me $50. I was really close to purchasing a point driver before finding these in a video by Modern Builds on YouTube. Definitely will be keeping these stocked.

These points are so thin and cheap that they are useless. I just broke a $30 piece of glass because the weak-xxxxed little wings folded up, and the force of my putty knife touched the edge of the glass. I had struggled with every one; they kept folding up, so on this last one I was being extra careful, but not extra careful enough. This is a fine example of making a product that is so cheap that it undermines the market for better competitive products. Now it is nearly impossible to find decent, functional points anywhere in the DIY marketplace.

These are Glazier Point shaped objects that will disappoint every time when you're looking for the real thing. Although inexpensive, there is zero value here as the tabs bend on even the softest wood before any real holding power is achieved.

These are terrible. They would be ok for MDF or pine, but my frame is made of oak. They say they are made of steel... but they bend like aluminum. They are very difficult to get in. These are a far cry from the jar of glazier's points my grandfather left me.

        No good for oak frame
Might work for soft woods but not on the picture frame I made using red oak. I tried a dozen of these and all but 2 bent under less pressure than needed to drive them in. I'm not even expecting them to go all the way in - just enough to hold. I picked them up in-store and came from "RF Supply" and were made in China. I have used these kinds of points before that were not this flimsy. They are a duller-looking color than the picture here so perhaps a lower grade metal is being used. I think the wood used for sashes is a softer kind of wood so it may work for that kind of work which is the other use for these.

        Worked when nothing else would!
These work great! I was building a shadow box out of an old picture frame and wanted an alternative to the staples holding the glass in that it originally had. I tried a few different options and this was the only one I liked and that made the glass stay in firm. They are small enough that they would work on even very small frames. Thanks!!!
