It’s quite thick to put on. You definitely need more paint than what is suggested on the can for the square footage. It covers well, and hopefully it wears well too.

The Glidden Porch and Floor paint was used to finish a wooden porch that need a few two-by-fours replaced This was the perfect finish for the project the deck faces southwest so during the summer the sun is on it all day and with the dogs and the cat and a walker the cooler wood and the antiskid finish is perfect finish all around. I used two gallons to finish this summer on the deck will be very enjoyable.

I used this (for now) on a wooden ramp to my work shed. The ramp[ has always been slipperty in the winter and I have had to be careful when walking on it when it's wet. But after painting it with this anti-skid paint, it has been great to walk on! I probably put it on too thick as the paint bubbled a little bit (and I did it when it was cold outside) but it was the only dry day we've had for a while. Anyhow, I am super happy with this anti-skid paint and I will apply it to the interior of my shop floor this next year when it's not so cold. The anti skid "grit" is not super abrasive but enough that I did not slip when the ramp was wet and I was wearing sneakers. I'm happy with this product!

I selected this product for future use on a cottage wooden floor. The existing paint is a bit slick when wet and has caused some falls, so anti-skid we go... This is a water based satin paint. It goes on thick and may be usable with just one coat. With one coat I can barely see the wood grain underneath. Two coats would for sure be adequate. The surface reminds me of 200 grit sandpaper so mopping may be a bit more difficult with the added friction. For reference I added a photo of this paint (1) and two other similar Glidden floor paints, but gloss. You can see the difference in coverage.

The concrete stairway on the east side of the house is extremely slippery especially after it rains. I got the Glidden porch and floor anti-skid paint in particular for those stairs. Not only is it anti-skid, it has cool surface technology that limits the surface temperature up to 20% as those stairs are in the bright sun most of the day. The paint can be applied to coated or un-coated concrete or wood and NO primer is needed. The paint is highly durable and scratch resistant. I applied the paint to the stairway with a brush as it was easiest to use on the narrow width of the stairs. If I was doing a large area I could have used my roller and extension. The paint has a nice thick consistency which covered the rough areas of the stairs. The paint dried fast to a beautiful satin sheen finish in one hour and could be re-coated in four hours. Clean-up was easy because it is water based. Great paint without the high price.

Used it on the floor of our new trailer ( new wood ) and it’s lifting off the wood not happy at all

l used this around our swimming pool. It was easy to apply which I did in September before closing the pool. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Looks very nice but since we live in Ohio will need to see how it holds up over the winter.
