Great High Gloss Finish
Great for a high gloss finish. I applied to baseboards, crown molding and door moldings. This is a thick paint. One thin coat, followed by a second spread coat and a third light touch up. Love the streak free finish. I use a brush cleaner makes cleanup easy.

its good but its not mess free.
If you want a nice glossy finish this will do it. I do not recomend using a brush unless needed for all flat surfaces use a high density foam roller. Also the paint it to thick to paint and not be messy. I would recomend thinning out a little bit. Its some real thick stuff. But you wont see rolle marks and it really does fill in imperfections. Be prepared to wait on it not to be tacky. It will take every bit of 24 hours to dry and recoat. I am no painter by any means but with a bit of tweaking you can make it look like a pro did it

Great product, great coverage. However, you will need to buy a great paint cleaner to get the oil based paint out of the brushes. I ruined two.

I absolutely love this product. It is super easy to work with and dare I say fun. I have purchased 6 cans and plan to buy a few more to complete projects. The smell is pretty strong so I would say allow proper ventilation after the project is completed.

The gel composition was key to this product since it is oil based and drips can double the work time... The bright white color really stands out nicely. Great paint!

I LOVE this paint!!! I am a 60 year-old grandma, and I just painted all the baseboards, trim, doors, and windowsills in the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs in my 25 year old home. I used this same paint last year to paint all the trim and doors downstairs including all the railings and spindles up the stairway. I'm not a professional painter, but I had no problem using this product. This paint is very thick and does not drip or leave brush strokes, so you don't even have to take the doors down to paint them. I just taped off the hardware. Yes, the paint is oil-based, so clean up is a bit more difficult, the dry time is longer, and the odor is a bit strong, but the finished product is well worth the inconvenience. The result is a beautiful smooth, glossy finish you can't get with latex enamel paint. I prefer to use a Purdy brand 2 in. XL cub angled brush for application. Using a quality paint brush is essential. I wear cheap clear plastic gloves to protect my hands and use Goo Gone to remove any paint that gets on my skin. Last year I didn't try to save the paint brushes after each use, but this year after watching a couple of YouTube videos on how to clean brushes with mineral spirits/paint thinner, I was able to clean and reuse the brushes without any problems. I would not use any other paint for baseboards, trim, doors, or windowsills. This stuff is magic and leaves a very beautiful, professional finish.

      Superior Paint.
This particular Glidden Paint is in a gel like form, still needs to be stirred, but provides a high quality shine and it is hard and long lasting. Excellent , but pay attention when applying ; use only foam roller ( my opinion only) and good quality brushes. Clean up can be difficult if you do not prep the area before painting.
