We replaced our island pendant lighting with this 4-pack of Globe "Vintage" style LED medium base...
We replaced our island pendant lighting with this 4-pack of Globe "Vintage" style LED medium base lamps. These light LED bulbs replace traditional 60 Watt bulbs, while providing 650 Lumens of light, while requiring 7.5 Watts of energy. These bulbs are also dimmable. Please note that LED lighting requires special LED type dimmer controls also available at The Home Depot.

The Home Depot and Globe Electric have very nice bulbs in these !
The Edison, 60 watt, tear drop amber style is quite unique ! (see pix)
Being LED they use less electric to save $$$ on your energy bill !
The amber glass is also nice for your porch lights, as they don't
attract bugs to the outside fixtures ! The 5 year warranty makes
these bulbs a good value ! Also they look really quaint when used
in a ceiling fan or fixture as they give off very little heat !!

The Edison bulbs add a vintage look to light fixtures. The bulbs give off a soft warm light when dimmed and brighten up the room when the dimmer is set to high. We previously had traditional light bulbs in our light fixture that gave off a great amount of heat. Thus making it unpleasant to use while dining. The LED bulbs do not give off heat and provide plenty of light. The bulbs are not a bright white light so if you are seeking a warm soft light, these will work well. Just installed so I am not sure how long they will last. The bulbs do have a five year warranty.

Overpriced
When dusk came the light bulb turned on and then off, then on and off continuously. Returned for a refund.

Nice bulb, looks attractive, good match to incandescent color temperature....
Nice bulb, looks attractive, good match to incandescent color temperature. Works OK naked, but in my carriage lamp fixture with base up, the reflections off the glass enclosure cause it to flicker for a couple minutes both when it turns on and when it turns off at dusk and dawn, because it sees too much of its own light. Not enough hysteresis in the system to make a clean transition. Also it would be nice if it had a, internal timer to shut itself off after it’s been lit for about 8 hours.

this light bulb is by no means what I was...
this light bulb is by no means what I was led to believe or rather thought it should be, it is not as bright as I thought it was advertised as me personally I am disappointed
