I have many different brands of smart lights in my home and these work just as good as any of them. They are responsive to voice commands and turn lights on and off without any delay. These particular bulbs are attractive because they do not require any additional hub to work.
You can tell Alexa to "Make your lights warm" (or cool) or "make your lights warmer" and it works well. You can do the same thing to dim or brighten your lights and turn them on or off. You can do the same things with the app remotely.
The bulbs are also rated for damp locations so there shouldn't be any problems using these in a bathroom.
Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the lights and app.

Smart bulbs are necessities in a smart home and these Globe Electric bulbs are excellent components in our system. All the key features are supported for situations that don't demand color. The bulbs are tunable in temperature, which is really handy in places like our master bedroom where there are times when we want a bright light for work or cleaning, and other times, a softer light for reading or television watching. Of course dimming is supported. The bulbs, like many (most?) smart bulbs, does not require a hub and the available Globe app is very useful and intuitive, but lacks some features of other smart bulb apps like "Bedtime" settings, and the like. Still, quite capable and good.. Use with a voice-activated assistant is mandatory for any smart bulb and the Globe bulbs are supported by all the devices we have. We have grouped these in Alexa groups with other manufacturers' bulbs and they perform exactly as expected. They respond to group commands along with the other bulbs and work in Alexa routines very nicely.
The bulbs also support IFTTT which we find very useful to allow us to create various alerts like the arrival of ride-sharing services or other events that may require a visual cue.
The lamps indicate that they are suitable for damp locations which should make them useful on patios and porches as long as they are not subjected to direct water. Like all the other smart bulbs I've tried, these cannot be used with a dimmer.
We're very pleased with these bulbs and highly recommend them.

The Globe Electric, WI-FI smart, 16-watt (60-watt equivalent), LED, soft white bulb is a useful addition for our home. I was very apprehensive about how hard it might be to set up these bulbs to perform their functions, but my fears were unfounded as it was very easy and only took about 15 minutes. First, you download the Globe App. on your I-Phone from Google or App. Store. Second, register and log in. Third, add in the devices (in this case the two bulbs) and you are finished. Now, you can remotely turn your lights on or off, program them to automatically turn on/off at certain times and days or when at home use Alexa or Google commands to do the same thing. The bulbs are very bright and easy on your electric bill at only 16 watts. You can even dim them without needing a dimming switch. As an older guy, I am amazed at today’s technology and how convenient it is. I recommend you try out these bulbs and will find them useful.

I now have wifi smart bulbs from six different brands in my home, so my basis for comparison is reasonably broad. First note - don't mix and match brands unless you plan to control them all through a smart home app like Alexa or Google Home - otherwise you will go nuts trying to remember which app controls which bulb. I use Alexa, so it was simply a matter of setting up the first bulb, adding the capability to Alexa, and presto - one-app control of multiple different bulbs.
First things first: setup. Read the quick start guide - they key points are (1) make sure your phone or tablet or whatever is using a 2.4GHz wifi network (not 5GHz), and (2) load & start the app before turning on the bulb for the first time. The app will ask you twice for permission to use location services. If you refuse, you will have to type in the wifi network name. This almost caused me to lower my rating by a star or two - I'm always wary of "cloud apps" that want more and more private information. But, as I won't be using the app except for setup, no big deal.
How's it work as a light bulb? Pretty well - it's on the bright side for a "60W-rated" bulb, especially at the 5000K setting. The color range is from very 'warm' (2000K or so) to practically pure white (5000K or so).

Set up of these WiFi smart light bulbs was so easy. I downloaded the GLOBE SUITE app per the simple instructions that came in the packaging, screwed in the bulb, and then followed the directions.
The system required that my mobile devise be connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel, but this was no problem. Most routers are now dual band. The directions come with both a website and phone number if assistance is needed, but like the directions state, “If you can screw in a bulb you can set up smart lights.”
I like the fact that I can turn lights on from anywhere when I’m not home, or simple turn the light on in a room from inside my house instead of stumbling and feeling my way toward a fixture. I put one bulb in the lamp by my bed and the other by the couch in the living room.
With the app, I can select which bulb I want to turn off, select the brightness, and have them go on/off at different times each day. Each bulb may be set up to different specifications.
The smart bulbs may also be controlled through voice assistance via integration with Google or Alexa through the GLOBE SUITE app. Pretty cool!

Since I’ve developed a bad knee, I find these wi-fi smart bulbs a lifesaver! Through my Alexa, I can turn off the lights without having to run up and down stairs, adding to my knee pain. The versatility is unbelievable! I can control the intensity, as well as the color of the light. I used to worry I had left on some lights on in my rush to get to work, but no more. I can program the lights individually, to make it seem like someone is home, without using a bunch of individual timers. The set up was easy for me, and I am not anything close to a techie !!

Linking these with all my amazon devices was easy and very quick. I am able to control the bulbs using voice control feature! It’s great to tell alexa to turn on/off my globe lights. I can also control these bulbs through the globe app or the alexa app.
